Mas dou Coudounie is a beautifully restored farmhouse with white walls, rustic finish and tiled floors. The house is situated in charming and peaceful countryside, near the historic hilltop village of Venasque in classic Provence, within easy distance of the town of Gordes, facng the Luberon and St. Didier, beneath Mt Ventoux.
There is a newly-constructed 8.6m x 4.3m pool set within a garden of secluded terraces, full of olive, cherrry, apricot and qunice trees, as well as a dedicated boules terrace.
The spacious fully-equipped kitchen with large dining room table and woodburner is adjacent to cosy sitting room with open fire and TV/DVD. The kitchen opens on to large south facing terrace with large outdoor table. Store room with washing machine and dryer. 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite showers (one with a wet room). Separate bathroom. House sympathetically restored with many features.

The mas is set in classic provence between the Luberon with its many hilltop villages and the Vaucluse with historic towns, cherry orchards and extensive vineyards including the wine growing areas of Gigondas, Cote de Rhones and Vaucluse. Wonderful landscape, hills, wild flowers, market towns and villages. Excellent food, wine tasting, markets, walking and cycling country.
The St. Didier area
Located in hills, 3 km from ancient hilltop village of Venasque with stunning views towards Mt Ventoux, two restaurants, baker, shop and post office, half way between bustling St Didier and historic Gordes with markets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Wonderful countryside of vineyards, cherry orchards and olive groves. Larger markets to be found in Apt, Carpentras and in the lavender growing area of Sault.
