The weaving centre just down the road has a cafe where light snacks, breakfast and afternoon teas can be purchased.
An easy walk along the coastal path leads to Porthgain and its famous Sloop Inn, and the award winning Shed Café.

The cottage is detached and used only as a single unit, self catering holiday let, the outside stairs are used only as a fire exit.
Kitchen / Dining area- a light and spacious area complete with Halogen hob/oven, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine.
Dining area - seats 6-8 with solid oak extendable dining table and chairs.
Lounge - A very cosy area complete with corner sofa which converts to a comfortable double bed, a large sofa, T.V. DVD, HI FI, and log burner for those chilly evenings. A selection of books and games are provided.
Bedroom 1 - Double bed, with area for cot, large fitted wardrobe, and large drying/airing
Bedroom 2 - Twin adult beds with en-suite shower room, wc., wash basin.
Bedroom 3 - Adult bunkbeds, single above with small double below.
Bathroom - Full-sized bath, separate shower cubical, wc, wash basin.
There is a small decked area to the rear of the property including outside dining area.Off road parking for 1 vehicle to the side of the property, with additional parking opposite alongside children's play area, football pitch, tennis court.
Cot and Highchair available on request. Full central heating/ hot water included in the price.
Starter pack of logs. Body Boards supplied.
Travel cot and macpac rucksack type child carrier supplied
Beds made up with fresh linen on arrival.
T. towels, hand towels, not personal bath towels.
Booking & Conditions
To book, please check AVAILABILITY CHART and then contact us via email or telephone, as per contacts page. We will then contact you as quickly as possible.
Cwmheldeg Cottage is available for letting on a weekly basis or off-peak short breaks (as per availability chart).
Off-peak breaks are at discounted rates.
All confirmed bookings require a 50% deposit with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. A returnable bond (damage waiver) maybe required on certain circumstances.
Please organise your own cancellation insurance as all deposits and monies paid within the 6 week prior to arrival period are non refundable unless another booking is found.
Prices quoted include bedlinen and hot water/central heating but customers must provide own towels.
There is a no smoking and no pets policy at the cottage.
All payments are to be made by cheque sent with your party details and your contact details to our contact address (this will be given at the time of confirmation).
CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF THE PROPERTY
The customer agrees to keep the accommodation and all furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of their let, and to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. The cost of any damage or breakage must be paid to the owners immediately or items replaced like with like.
The persons staying in the accommodation must be those stated on the booking details unless agreed by prior arrangement.
If there are any problems with the accommodation on arrival or during the stay customers should contact the owners immediately, as complaints cannot be considered after the event.
The cottage will be available from 3pm on the first day of the let and must be vacated by 11am on the last day (unless agreed otherwise prior to the start of the let).
Please note, the driveway is steep, cars with low profile bodywork may bottom out on the drive.
Check first by reversing slowly up the drive.
There is a large car park opposite the cottage.

St David's with its historical Cathedral is Britain's smallest City, with numerous restaurants, cafes and galleries it's a great place to visit.
Fantastic coastline and many local attractions and adventures available locally make it a great base for a holiday and adventure break.
