Home description
Rue Dancourt is in St Cyprien village just 2 kms from the beach with every amenity in the village you could possible need. Perpignan is the largest town nearby just 15 mins away and Argeles-s-mer is the next village down the coast with the Spaish border just a few kms down the motorway. Rue Dancourt is a very well equipped town house, with the living area, bathroom, 2 wcs and 2 bedrooms on the upper level, from the lounge you can open patio doors onto a large balcony that overlooks a lovely green area where children can play safely.
It is in a lively village but has the advantage of a peaceful setting, why not sit on the balcony and sip a glass of local wine and watch the children play, or alternatively have a BBQ in the enclosed patio area to the back of the house. The lower level has a large hall with a sofa bed and acess to a further 2 double bedrooms and garage/laundry room

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
Languedoc-Roussillon’s countryside is unspoiled and its coastline protected, but its historic and cultural riches are also stunning. The region is littered with historical monuments, abbeys and castles and boasts several World Heritage sites: the Pont du Gard, the Canal du Midi, the medieval city of Carcassonne and the pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela.
As a land of Mediterranean culture, Languedoc-Roussillon is characterised by its ‘art de vivre’ (the ‘art of living’) and is firmly attached to its traditions and customs. The Roussillon plain spreads out from the Mediterranean coast at Perpignan and rolls gently to the feet of the Massif du Canigou and the Massif des Albčres, where the vineyards rise in tiers at the foot of the Pyrenees. Dotted on this green landscape are rural resorts, character villages and superb vineyards. Languedoc-Roussillon, renowned for the diversity of its agricultural produce, boasts a delicious and authentic cuisine.
Based on olive oil, garlic and basil, this cuisine is typically flavoured with herbs of the Provencal garrigue (scrubland) such as thyme, rosemary, bay. Cheeses, wines, honey and fruit complement the rural and coastal specialities. Sampling the cuisine of Languedoc-Roussillon is still one of the best ways to really discover our region.
St Cyprien / St Cyprien Village area
The town of St Cyprien in the Languedoc-Roussillon has the biggest marina in the Mediterranean Sea, kms of sandy beach, an international Golf course with 27 holes, a Tennis centre, and various activities such as horseback riding, squash, waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, diving, aqualand, etc.
An ideal location to enjoy the beach and the sea, or to discover the Catalan coast with its famous vineyards as Collioure and Banyuls or the backcountry with its charming villages, chateaux and its typical food, you could even go on a cheese and wine tasting excursion and enjoy the many different culture festivals such as Visa and Pablo Casals.
At less than an hour drive from the Costa Brava (Dali Museum), 2 hours from Barcelona and Toulouse and only 90 minutes from the Pyrenees ski slopes, St Cyprien boasts 300 days of sunshine every year.
