The property is situated on a quiet family friendly residence only 1km from the lively harbour area of St Cyprien which offers a large selection of bars and restaurants many with stunning views of the Canagou mountains. Both the beaches and local shops are within 10 minutes walk, with the Aqualand Waterpark only a five minute drive away or a few stops aboard the St Cyprien tourist train. With one ground floor double bedroom, a mezzanine with two single beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge area this property comfortably sleep 6 with room for a travel cot if required. The kitchen area is fully equipped and with both front and rear patio areas there is plenty of opportunity for relaxing meals in the sun.

Saint-Cyprien has a large and busy marina and 5 kilometres of fine sand stretch along the sandy coast with the Canigou mountain and the Albères hills in the background.
In the foothills and mountains are scores of picturesque towns and villages like Villfranche-de-Conflent, Prades and Ceret. In addition there are spectacular caves, gorges, thermal baths and mountaintop Cathar castles such as Perepeteus. On your travels stop at the 'etangs' to spot the flamingos and other water birds.
Vineyards stretch from the Mediterranean right up the slopes into the mountains. There are oportunities for vineyard visits and tastings in famous wine villages like Fitou, Banyuls, La Tour de France and Caramany.
Nearby Perpignan offers all the facilities of a city including shopping, entertainment, restaurants, markets, historic buildings and international sporting venues.
The winter season offers mild temperatures on the coast suitable for Golf and walking with the possibility of skiing in the mountains at Les Angles and other nearby ski resorts just a 1½ hour drive away.

St Cyprien has the second largest marina on the Mediterranean coast with thousands of stunning boats of all sizes on view and boat excursions available to Collioure, Banyuls and Roses in Spain.
For the energetic, water sports, bike riding, horse riding and walking are just a few of the activities close by. The local ‘Grand Stad’ offers international standard facilities for tennis, squash and a gym.
This area is part of the ancient and historic Catalan region that straddles the Franco/Spanish border along the breathtaking peaks of the Pyranees mountains. St Cyprien is an ideal starting place for visits down the coast to the coves and inlets of Collioure, Banyuls and on to the Spanish border.
Spain is only 30 minutes away, with the closest places of interest being the cheap shopping at Jonquera and Le Perthus, for the ultimate surreal experience the museum of artist Salvador Dali at Figueres and the Costa Brava leading on to Barcelona.

By road - Calais to Perpignan 10 -12 hours depending on route and traffic. By rail - TGV to Perpignan via Lille or Paris or sleeper train Paris to Perpignan
