It has an International Golf Course,Horse-riding, Fishing, Water sports of every description, Diving, Boat trips, Boat hire charter, Bird watching on the Canet Lagoon colonised by pink flamingos , Wine - tasting at the nearby Chateau's, Sigean African Wildlife reserves on 645 acres,or why not take the yellow train from Villefranche - de - conflent to 5000 ft above sea level for some of the most spectacular views in Europe.

Mountain walking, Water - rafting, Hang gliding, or take the spas of Amelie - les - bains, visit the wonderful resort of Collioure where many artist have been inspired by the picturesque landscapesuch as Matisse and Derain.
