"Lambs Barn", a lovely detached barn conversion located in pretty Talskiddy hamlet, with St Columb Major town and its shops, cafes and restaurants 2 miles away. Only 3 miles from the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth and 8 miles from both Watergate Bay and Newquay, North Cornwall. Padstow 7 miles. A quiet country location, one of a few old character cottages on what was once Talskiddy Farm, at the end of a short driveway. A few minutes stroll to the village 'Duck Pond' and can continue a pleasant walk down to a little ford over the tiny stream on the edge of the village. Nearby St Columb Major town has pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes.

The cottage is detached (one corner just touches adjoining cottage) situated at the top of a short shared driveway. There are patio doors from kitchen/utility room onto the small rear garden (garden furniture) with lawn, shrubs and flowers-really pretty in the summer. Lambs Barn also has a 1 acre enclosed garden at bottom of the driveway, great for children to play in or for running a dog. 1 dog welcome. The cottage has a front courtyard with table and chairs, a pleasant setting in which to enjoy a meal , with parking space in the courtyard for 3 cars. A great location being only 10 miles from Padstow and 8 miles to Newquay, ideally positioned for Bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs, with lounge/diner and kitchen upstairs- so as to enjoy the views. Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed. Double futon bed available for lounge area. Lounge/diner with T.V. & DVD. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Utility room leading from kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer and patio doors onto rear garden. Bathroom with bath, overhead shower and toilet. exploring this stretch of coastline with probably the best beaches in Cornwall. St Austell on the opposite coast is only 14 miles. Linen inclusive. This stretch of coastline, from Padstow down to Newquay, is often thought of as having the loveliest coastline and best beaches in Cornwall. Visit famous Fiscal surfing beach in Newquay and visit Watergate Bay beach (home to Jamie Oilivers restaurant). Padstow is a favourite and picturesque working fishing village with numerous unique and interesting shops, eating places, pubs and Lobster Hatchery(small entrance fee). Padstow is home to Rick Steins restaurant and also his Fish & Chip shop. Talskiddy is a tiny and quiet rural village with a small 'Duck Pond' and there is a pleasant walk down to a little ford over the tiny stream on the edge of the village.
