Old Oak Barn opened in 2005 and we have seen a steady stream of visitors since then - many returning for a second and third holiday or short break. The barn is situated on the owners 72 acre farm in West Wales which includes 40 acres of private woodland which surround the property. NOW WITH FREE INTERNET ACCESS!
We are only a short distance from the Pembrokeshire coast. Tenby and Saundersfoot approx 25 minutes by car. There is plenty to do in this area and many of our visitors end the day with a BBQ on the huge south facing stone patio. The little stream nearby will help to amuse children and we leave buckets and spades and nets for them to borrow. Old Oak Barn is very child friendly and a lot of thought has gone into ensuring that children's needs are always considered. Please phone or email any time.
We sometimes have last minute space - but often get booked up 6 months in advance.
Kitchen is very well equipped. WiFi works everywhere.
Main room is huge!! A second table too.

The local area includes many beautiful gardens eg Botanic Gardens of Wales are just 20 minutes away and Aberglasney 30 minutes.
Beaches by the dozen and nearly all are lovely clean sand. Great swimming conditions in the summer.
Castles, museums and lots of holiday attractions all easily accessible. Carmarthen town is 10 miles away and the village of St Clears only 3 miles.
St Clears area
Laugharne with its festival in April is a big attraction and is 10 minutes drive away.
St Clears has many good shops, restaurants, butchers, Post Office, Banks and several pubs. We recommend Medirim New Inn with its French chef for good food. Only 2 miles away.

20 mins from end of M4. 100 miles due west of the Severn Bridge!

Further details indoors: Inside we provide lots of extras! The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, micro wave, small fridge freezer and a ceramic hob. The main living room has a second big table and chairs, two two seater sofas, TV DVD and plenty of toys and books. Two bedrooms adjacent to the main room are warm and cosy all year round and the underfloor heating keeps the property dry - guaranteed NO damp corners!!
We welcome short breaks out of the main summer season. Last minute availability is offered at a reduced rate on a per night basis.
Further details outdoors: Plenty of safe secure parking adjacent to Old Oak Barn. Swings in the small garden. But the best feature has to be the huge stone patio where you are welcome to BBQ in style!

We usually rent on a weekly basis during high season. Otherwise we can accept bookings from 3 days or more. Please email for our info sheet with terms and conditions. Prices rise to maximum of £595 in July and August. Winter breaks from approx £60 per night all inclusive. We provide all bed linen but not towels. Strictly no pets and no smokers.

Deposit of £100 due at booking and full payment 6 weeks priior to arrival.
