2013 German family stayed with us for two weeks and said

"A Perfect Family Holiday

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much, Bramley Parc offered plenty of space for the 4 of us. We never had so many wardrobes in a holiday cottage before ;-) It was perfectly calm and clean and the kitchen is simply professional. Marilyn and Owen were very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect start to our holiday to enjoy the delicious homemade cream tea in the evening sun after a long journey and leaf through the numerous touristic leaflets and guides provided. The apartment is perfectly situated for visiting lots of interesting sites. Don't miss to walk to St. Breward and have a pint in The Old Inn!

Kind regards from Germany

Monika with family"

The Cornwall region

Cornwall is rightly famous for its endless supply of sandy beaches and harbours and we're particularly fortunate to be close to so many! Places like Padstow, Polzeath, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Fowey & Looe are all under 30 minutes drive from us! Cornwall is also blessed with more than it's fair share of wonderful historic houses & gardens, both National Trust and privately owned and many of these, including The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project are on the 'must see' list for many people! Lanhydrock House (NT) and gardens, like many others in Cornwall, are stunning places to visit, particularly in Spring & early Summer.

Walkers, too, are also spoilt for choice and we can offer wonderful moorland and forest walks from the doorstep or amazing coastal paths just slightly further away! Furthermore, we're only two miles from the Camel Trail to Padstow so the area is ideal for cyclists, too! What are you waiting for?

Close to Bodmin Moor and scenic north cornish coast.

Celtic region with local festivals, Padstow Obby Oss, Helston Flora, Oyster Festival Rock, Firework Festival, Plymouth, Carnivals and ralleys. Sandy beaches and Atlantic rollers, great for surfing at Polzeath and Newquay. Mild sunny climate. Historic National Trust houses and English Heritage sites throughout County

St Breward

Bodmin Moor offers everything Dartmoor provides but in a less crowded way!

Moorland and Coastal views from the various tors and moorland equestrian facilities closeby.

Cycle hire from nearby Wenford Bridge (1.5 miles) for the Camel Trail and access to the National Cycle Network

Colliford lake offers traditional fly fishing for natural brown trout and is regarded as Cornwall's premier brown trout fishery. Permits are available from The Jamaica Inn at Bolventor

Swimming, Gymnasium and health treatments just a mile away!

Tintagel Castle, Pencarrow, Lanhydrock, are within easy reach and many other attractions suitable for families, e.g. Crealy Adventure Park.
