It is a very large,clean modern apartment with underfloor c/h, fully fitted, and equipped kitchen, including an iron and board.Two bedrooms [one master en suite with double bed and second bedroom with twin beds]. There is also a family bathroom. It has secure, off road, personal parking, double entry doors and fantastic sea views. It has all modern conveniences e.g. flat screen t.v. with intergrated dvd player, freeview, radio/c.d. player, wi-fi, i phone/pad docking station, dishwasher, washing machine, fantastic comfy beds, etc... A real "home from home". A complimetary Cornish cream tea, and tea, coffee, sugar and milk is provided on arrival. We provide a meet and greet service to welcome you. The apartment is fully refurbished every year. Beds are comfortable. The lounge is home from home with all you need to entertain you. The kitchen has every facility you need, including condiments. Toiletries are provided in the bath/shower rooms. Soft furnishings are modern. The master bedroom is large with a sitting area, with sea views. It has an ensuite shower room. A continental breakfast can be provided on request. Pets may be accomodated following discussion with the owner. Children are welcome at any age. Cot, high chair and black out blind can be provided on request, free of charge. Both the lounge and master bedroom have a "juliet" balcony.
No smoking in the building. Smoke detectors are mains served. The multie occupancy building conforms to all health and safety and fire regulations. This property is in a split level building, therefore it is ground floor from the rear of the building [from car park], but is on the 3rd floor at the front of the building.
The West Country region
The region around St. Austell is predominatly man made landscape. This is due to the mining of china clay for many years. Consequently there are many lakes, big hills and clay trails, and then turned into area's of great interest [The Eden Project] and are a haven for nature. The trails provide great walks [with or without a dog], fantastic cycle tracks, and many fishing lakes. The bay has many fabulous beaches, some of which have restaurants/cafe's/pub's on the beach. Par beach is a all year round dog walking beach and has sand dunes and a nature reserve.
This is a haven for all types of birds. Polkerris beach has a watersports area, where you can learn to sail, ski, windsurf and jet ski. Charlestown is a world heritage site and has tall ships in the harbour. This area is often used for filming major feature films, and t.v. programmes. You can also take a powerboat course. There is nothing in the world as great as a hour or so mackrel fishing out of Mevagissey, then eating freshly cooked fish and chips, whilst watching the goings on of this working harbour.
Take a trip to Fowey on the ferry to wander round this ancient, famous town and see the yacht's, art galleries and fabulous houses. Garden lovers are spoilt for choice with The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trebah just a short drive away. Generally the weather is warmer than many other parts of the u.k. There are many National Trust properties throughout Cornwall. The historic city of Truro is 14 miles away.
Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown, Mevagissey, Fowey, Polkerris, Menabilly beach, Lanhydrock, St. Austell brewery, The China Clay museum. There are numerous festivals throughout the year, eg.. Daphne de'Maurier festival, Mevagissey feast week, Fowey regatta, Beer festival and local fairs and carnivals. There are many childrens activity centers, suitable for all ages of children.
Local fly, course, beach, and boat fishing. Scuba diving, water sports, several golf courses/pitch and putt.
The largest inside market in the U.K. is less than 2 miles [Saturday and Sunday]. Many fantastic beaches.

Not the cheapest but worth every penny. The apartment (2 bedrooms) was clean, spacious and comfortable, very well-equipped, with fabulous views. The owner, Jenny, couldn't have been more helpfu… More
