Key West is a brand new house situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, just a short walk from the coast, local pubs and restaurants.
Downstairs, the fully fitted kitchen and dining area lead out onto an enclosed patio equipped with a BBQ and garden furniture. Whatever the weather you will be able enjoy a leisurely meal - ideal with some freshly caught fish from the harbour.
The lounge makes a lovely place to relax watching a blue ray or DVD film on the 32" digital TV with Freeview, listening to your music on the docking station or playing on the Nintendo Wii games console. There is also unlimited wi-fi internet access available for you to connect your wireless devices to so you can surf the web and check your emails.
Sleeping arrangements are very flexible. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed whilst bedroom 2 can be arranged with 2 single beds or another kingsize (via zip/link mechanism). There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.
From Key West there is loads to do and see - visit the famous Eden Project, walk some of the Cornish coastline or wander through the street of Mevagissey - all within a 15 minute drive from the house. There are also 4 golf courses in the St. Austell area catering for all abilities, each with views of the sea.

Key West has a walled front garden laid to lawn. The enclosed back garden has a small patio area ideal for a family barbeque.The house benefits from off road parking for one car as well as further roadside space.
An information pack is provided to ensure guests benefit from all aspects of the house and local area.
A £100 security deposit is required to confirm your booking. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of your stay (subject to satisfactory property inspection). Full payment is due at least 6 weeks before your arrival date.
The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall is renowned for its breathtaking coastline and is full of award winning places to visit.
The Eden Project is just 2 miles away, a great day out for all ages to explore its biospheres and admire its grounds. From Charlestown take a short drive - or walk along the spectacular coast path - to Mevagissey (West) and Fowey (East). Both working harbours offer visitors the chance to stroll down cobbled streets, browse around shops or enjoy delicious food in their numerous pubs and restaurants.
For those looking for a more relaxing holiday, there are beautiful beaches on the South coast like Porthpean, Pentewan and Caerhays. Further afield, the North Coast boasts a more dramatic coastline with stunning beaches in Newquay, Perranporth and Watergate Bay.
The St Austell / Charlestown, St Austell area
Charlestown is a most interesting harbourside village with its tall ships, pebbled beaches and gift shops. The Shipwreck Centre is a great place to learn about its history and there are lots of places to eat and drink: a lazy breakfast at Charlies, family lunch at the Rashleigh Inn or dinner for two at the Pier House. Just a mile away is a brand new shopping centre, cinema and other local amenities in St. Austell.

By car: From the A30, leave at the St. Austell junction and follow the signs to St. Austell. Once on the A390, turn left at the traffic lights just past the Holmbush Inn. Turn right at the mini roundabout and right again at the T junction. Foundry Drive is then the first road on the right - follow this to the cul-de-sac at the end of the road.
By train/bus: From St Austell train/bus station take the bus to Charlestown. Alternatively take a short taxi ride to the property.

We only had a short stay here. We arrived quite late on Friday night, and the owners had very thoughtfully left tea, coffee and milk (and a bottle of wine).
The house is in a fantastic location. Charlestown is beautiful with good places for a meal or a drink, and within easy reach of St Austell, supermarkets etc. If you stay, you must visit the Eden Project.
The condition of the house is excellent. Everything was very clean, it had everything we needed, and for people with younger families there is a Wii and several games and toys in one of the bedrooms.
If we ever come back to this part of Cornwall I would defnitely book this property again.

We stayed for two weeks, using the house as a base to visit our favourite old haunts, meet up with local family & friends and explore new parts of Cornwall.
The house is perfectly equipped, with everything we could possibly need; stylishly decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean, all making sure that our stay was stress free and totally relaxed.
Located on the edge of picturesque, historic harbour town of Charlestown and a stones throw from St Austell; pubs, restaurants and supermarkets are readily available locally; pebbled swimming beaches within a short walk or larger sandy bays a short drive away; woodland or clifftop walks nearby; as well as busier watersports locations on the other side of the bay. Key West offers great access to so many options for all the familiy's favourite holiday activities.
We had a perfect holiday, ten out of ten from us!
