Mevagissey's picturesque harbour and narrow streets are the perfect setting for a visit with many cafes, good restaurants and shops. Truro, the regional capital of Cornwall, is 17 miles and offers something for even the most discerning guests with a selection of shopping, from boutiques to department stores, Hall for Cornwall, multi-screen cinemas and Cathedral. Charlestown, often used as a film set, is home to traditional tall ships and Shipwreck Museum as well as many delightful pubs, restaurants and shops. This is a small sample of the wealth of attractions that are all within easy reach.
