The coastal pathways run just down from the property for those that enjoy walking and the Eden Project is just a short drive away.
Porthpean is ideally located for exploring Cornwall as the road network in and out of St Austell is very good.

Drive to Exeter, take the A38 to Plymouth and stay on it and keep going to Cornwall. At Dobwalls, take the A390 to St Austell. After Mount Charles roundabout in St Austell, keep on the A390 and then take first turning left into Porthpean Road, Follow road for around a mile until you see turning down to Porthpean Beach road, take this left and Headlands is fourth turn on right or the first major property on left with a red roof.
Fly to Newquay airport and take a taxi or hire a car.
Train to St Austell train station and then take a 10 minute taxi journey.
