A magnificently restored two storey villa set in 21 acres of gated secluded pasture and woodland, with incredible views across the surrounding countryside within two kilometres of the pretty village of Varen and only ten kilometres from Saint Antonin Noble Val.
Pech del Rey is one of our most beautiful properties located above the village of Varen about ten kilometres from Saint Antonin Noble Val. It is a secluded estate with wonderful private grounds, a superb swimming pool and beautiful living accommodation.
This gated property at the end of a rather bumpy stony country lane comprises twenty one acres of woodland and pasture, a long sweeping tree lined driveway, two large patios/terraces, one beautifully shaded and the other in the sun from morning till night.
This is a magnificently restored traditional Quercy house with a wonderful swimming pool. The pool is security fenced and gated according to French laws and can be heated (at extra cost).

Saint Antonin Noble Val itself has a full programme of events that start at easter and run throughout the summer. They range from the giant Easter egg parade that runs along the cobbled streets of the town, to a fume filled noisy bustling "hill climb" racing car day that takes place on the narrow twisting road just outside Saint Antonin Noble Val. The atmosphere is electric with cars, drivers mechaniques and the press coming from all over the region.
For more active visitors there are opportunities to experience cycling, climbing, caving pot-holing and racing through foaming white water in canoes or rafts. For children the open countryside and the smaller rivers and lakes provide a natural playground of excitement and adventure.

BY CAR If driving from the channel ports, follow signs to Paris until you see signs to Bordeaux and then on to Tolouse – This will take you east around Paris, avoiding the ‘Peripherique’.
BY TRAIN There is a direct link to Montauban from Lille which ties in with Eurostar. There are a number of trains a day from Toulouse to Montauban or Caussade

Further details indoors: Pech del Rey comfortably sleeps eight people, with four (4) good sized bedrooms, and lots of brand new bathroom facilities restored to a very high British standard on both floors. A cot, put-u-up and high chair are also available.
The master bedroom has a brand new en suite bathroom and there a three further colourful bedrooms one with en suite shower room.
This is a wonderful property for a large family holiday with plenty of privacy and lots of fantastic space.
With its two double en suite bedrooms and two twin rooms there is ample room for everyone to have a fantastic holiday.
It is also ideal for a summer or Christmas house party for a group of friends.
Between the dining area and kitchen is a huge open log fireplace, just the place to sip that mulled wine or after dinner digestive.
Prices for Pech del Rey start at £650 and rise to £1380 per week in the high season.

Further details outdoors: The pool has been completely refurbished with new liner and roman steps have been added and complies with all the latest safety legislation. The pool is large (10m x 5m) . Sun loungers and towels are also provided.
There is a barbeque on the verandah and a large table and chairs that comfortably seats 8 people, perfect for lunch oe dinner under the southern sun..
The grounds extend all around the property and out into the surrounding woodlands and pastures, perfect for bird spotting or gentle walks.

Bed linen and towels (bath and pool) are provided. Changeover day is usually on a Friday (although there is more flexibility out of the peak season) and we kindly ask that the property is vacated by 10.00am to allow enough time for the house to be prepared for new arrivals. The property should be ready for new guests from 4.00pm on the day of arrival.
