Home description

The house sleeps 9 and is spacious and cosy with a predominance of wood panelled walls and traditional charm. The house comprises, on the ground floor, a sitting room and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and on the first floor, a bathroom, separate WC, a twin room, a double room and a tripple room with a single and two bunks.

There is a free wireless LAN internet connection available in the house.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland / Tyrol/Tirol region

This charming farmhouse is situated in the Nasserein area of St. Anton, a 5 minute walk or 2 minute bus ride to the Nasserein ski lift, which now carries 60% of all St Anton’s guests up the mountain in the mornings. This is a good starting place for ski beginners and children as well as experienced skiers and boarders.

To get to the centre of the village requires a 15 minute walk, or a €10 taxi ride, which does ensure that the house is peaceful at night!


St. Anton area

Sankt Anton am Arlberg is a village in Tyrol, western Austria. It is well known around the world as the host of the Alpine World Skiing Championships in 2001 and as one of the world's most famous international winter sports and a summer resort. Skiing has a long history in this village: even before World War I, the first skiing teachers were employed at St. Anton.

Your cheapest connection from UK is Ryanair to Friedrichshafen, and then by train, or taxi (90 minutes). Innsbruck airport is also a very easy option, and Zurich airport is a 2 hour taxi ride, or 3 hour train ride.

The price quoted includes bed, breakfast 6 mornings, housekeeping and refreshments of tea and coffee available for guests. Change over day is on Sunday due to traffic on Saturdays, cheaper flights on Sundays and, due to the timing of flights, this enables guests to have a full day of skiing on their last day before heading to the airport.

Conditions

Conditions: To book requires a deposit of 50% of the total price, and full payment is required 5 weeks in advance. There is no guest kitchen access. Cancellation refunds will be made only if the house can be re-let for the week concerned. Any breakages will be charged at cost of replacement.
