A modern two storey apartment with reserved parking in the town centre of St Andrews beside the West Port at the end of South Street. The property is within comfortable walking distance to all central amenities including the Old Course (less than 10 minutes) and the West Sands. It comprises of a lounge/dining area with Juliet balcony, breakfasting kitchen with small balcony (seats 4) which has views over the rear of the town and beyond. There are three double bedrooms, the master on the upper level has an en suite shower room, a family bathroom with overhead shower services the two bedrooms on the lower floor, both bathrooms were completely refurbished in June 2011.
The kitchen is a good size and well equipped, including microwave, dishwasher , washer dryer, coffee maker and Bosch hob and oven.
The main living accommodation and balcony are generally south facing and benefit from the sun most of the day and well into the evening.
The property has been freshly kitted out with good quality furniture and bedding, free internet and modern entertainment equipment with BT Vision Unlimted featuring catch up TV, on demand channels and movies. There are numerous books and DVDs as well as some Xbox and Board games to entertain you during your stay.
The property is entered directly from the private courtyard via a fairly steep external staircase, therefore is not really suitable for families with babies or toddlers, or anyone that has difficulty with climbing stairs.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.

As well as the local attractions of the St Andrews and the immediate area, St Andrews also provides an ideal central base for day trips throughout central and eastern Scotland, providing access to North Berwick to the South and Aberdeen to the North within about a 2 hour drive.
The major cities closest to St Andrews are Edinburgh and Dundee, the former having numeroud visitor attractions such as the Castle, monuments, zoo and the Edinburgh Dungeons visitor attractions. In Dundee there is the Science Centre and Discovery Point where Robert Scott's famous ship from his Antartic Expedition in 1901-04 can be explored.
The St Andrews area
The town of St Andrews is well known for being home of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course, which when coupled with the historic Unversity ensures that it maintains a lively buzz all year round.
The Old Course along with six other courses, including the newly opened Castle Course, are managed by the St Andrews Links Trust through whom visitors can make tee time reservations for all of these courses in advance and during their stay. These courses cater for player of all abilities and are supported by excellent practice facilies.
All of the golf courses in the area welcome visitors, including Carnoustie, The Dukes, Kingsbarns, Crail, and many others within comfortable 30-40 minutes driving distance.
In and around St Andrews there are many other attractions for visitors, such as the Byre Theatre, the University buildings, ancient ruins of the Castle and Cathedral with its famous graveyard and the East and West Sands.
For walkers there is scenic Fife Coastal path to explore.
For children, when the weather does allow you to keep them enterained on the beach , there is putting, swimming at the local indoor pool, cinema, tennis and horse riding is available nearby, plus the Secret Bunker provides an interest excursion for both adults and children.
There are numerous excellent pubs, restaurants and coffee shops within the town itself and throughout the East Neuk of Fife, ensuring visitors are well fed and watered.

By Car
From Edinburgh follow signs to the Forth Road Bridge on the A90. Cross the Forth Road Bridge onto the M90 and follow the road north. Exit at junction 8 onto the A91 and follow the signs for Cupar/St Andrews. Journey time from Edinburgh is approximately 1 hour.
