This flat is at the far end of Earlsferry High Street and can be accessed from there or from Links Road. The main door opens into an inner vestibule where you will see the front doors for the upper flat and for this one (on the right).
Once in the front door you have a handy space for shoes and coats and sand before entering the open plan kitchen/living area.
The sitting area has a huge window looking onto the street - no sea views I am afraid but we are minutes from the beach. This is a large room with high ceiling and it includes an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. The kitchen has fitted units and a huge tall window above the sink. Gas hob and oven, washing machine and dish washer, microwave, large, tall freestanding fridge with good freezer space located in seperate room off the kitchen.
The ground floor bathroom has loo, basin and a double sized shower.
There is one small bunkroom with comfortable adult sized bunks and good storage. The back room looks onto the garden and has zip and link beds which can be 2 ft 6 singles (i.e smaller than average) or a king size bed. Again great storage. These beds used as singles are best for children.
There is then quite a steep staircase up to the last bedroom which is en suite. The bedroom is a good size and has a king size bed and large wardrobe, the en suite is small but houses a shower, basin and loo. This bedroom has a bird's eye view of all the area to the back of the house.
The garden is all paved and has 2 different levels to catch the sun at different times of the day. We have a round picnic table with umbrella and an outdoor sofa set, all near the barbecue on the lower patio area. The barbecue is a built in brick barbecue.
We then have the highly sought after parking space. Parking is for one car only and it can be quite tight turning in from Links Road. Other parking is on the street in front of the house or up near Chapel Green or on Links Road.

TV is digital so has the freeview channels. Wi-fi is available throughout flat. Large shower in downstairs bathroom, smaller shower upstairs.
Beds in ground floor main bedroom can adapt to be twins or king.
House can be accessed from garden at the back if you are really wet/sandy! Outdoor tap to rinse off sand is located outside the bathroom.

Changeover day is Friday in July/August and we aim for Friday at other times of the year. Full week rentals only in July/August and short breaks can be offered (minimum 3 nights) outwith this period. Arrivals after 4 pm and departures by 10 am.
The Fife region
There are many golf courses in the area. Walkers will enjoy the Fife coastal path that can take you further down the coast or up as far as Crail.
The nearby villages/towns of St. Monans, Pitenweem, Anstruther and Crail are well worth a visit. There you can see the fishing boats and potteries and Fisheries Museum. There is also St. Andrews at only about 15 miles away and then Dundee at about 40 minutes away.
Lots of nice places to eat in and around Elie.
Edinurgh is an hour away by car.
What isn't there to do in and around Elie? The sports club is nearby with its 9 hole golf course, tennis, driving range, putting and bowls and The Pavillion restaurant/cafe. This is next to the Elie golf course.
At the harbour you have all the watersports as well as the fun rides like donuts and banana boat!
Obviously you have the beach a stone's throw away.
Nearby is the 19th hole pub which serves food.

"Great flat in excellent location"

"Bright, warm and family friendly holiday apartment"
A really lovely holiday apartment two minutes away from the beach. The layout works really well for a family with two bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs. The garden and parking space and both very useful. We stayed just after Christmas and there was a lovely Christmas tree and decorations which made it feel really welcoming.

It is always a pleasure to have returning guests. We are happy to be flexible on start and end dates outwith the peak months of July and August when changeover day is a Friday. Nothing is too precious in the property, we welcome dogs, children and the inevitable sand.
I think a voile curtain on the lower half of the window would be a great idea in the sitting room as it is a very large window onto the street. At the moment we like people to look in and see what a welcoming place it is inside but I agree, a choice would be a good thing.
