MIddle Cottage, St Andrews
from £78 /night help
Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Whether it's a family holiday or a golfing trip to the Old Course, Middle Cottage is perfectly placed to make it a memorable trip.
Furnished and decorated to a high standard this countryside idle is just ten minutes from the historical town of St Andrews as well as being within a one hours drive of Edinburgh and Gleneagles.
The interior of the house is very comfortable and furnished beautifully. The living room has leather arm chairs, a wood burner and comfortable sofa. The dining area has an extending table as well as an open fire place. The bathroom is large with a heated towel rail and a rain shower. The kitchen has a dishwasher and everything you could want for cooking and baking.
The bedrooms are a good size with a king bed and two singles in the second room. There is also a third trundle bed in the second bedroom. There is a lovley day bed in teh back room and the sofa is a sofa bed.
I have recently installed a brand new central heating system and pump to ensure first class water pressure.
The gardens are tranquil and contain an array of wild and cottage garden flowers as well as a pond full of waterlilies and a small waterfall. There is a wooden garden table and chairs in the front as well as a smaller table and chairs in the back garden. There is also a swing which my children love.
The cottage is set amidst a small hamlet of lovely properties all within half a mile of each other. Close enough to give comfort but far enough away to give you complete privicy. There are two little ponies down the track that my childen spend alot of time feeding grass to and there is an oppertunity to walk through the fleids in almost every direction.
Moonzie Mill is well placed as there is a farm shop 3 minutes away and a small village shop 5 mins away that is open from 7am -11pm.
The cottage has it's own parking and is in a very secure and peacefull spot. Please visist my website.

The Fife region
The historical city of St Andrews is considered to be the home of Golf. It's not only famous for it's golfing heritage but also for its university where Prince William met his now wife Kate. The historical buildings are breathtaking. It has a medieval castle and Cathedral as well as beautifully preserved winding streets full of character.
