This property is based in the heart of the town, in one of the most sought after areas of St Andrews town.
It will be hard to get a better location in St Andrews town , as all amenities are within a very short walk however the property is located in a quiet peaceful location
St Andrews - 'The home of golf'. One of the most historic places to visit in Scotland.
The town of St Andrews is internationally recognised the world over as the Home of Golf.
The 2015 Open Championship will be the 29th Open played over The Old Course in St Andrews since 1873
There are now 7 Golf courses run by the St Andrews Links Trust:- including the Old Course. A seventh course The Castle Course opened in 2008 . Many other course are nearby - The Duke's Course, the new Kingsbarns Course and traditional links courses at Elie, Crail, Leven and Lundin Links.
Other attractions include:- St Rule's Tower, St Andrews Cathedral, St Andrews Castle and St Leonard's Chapel. More contemporary attractions are St Andrews Aquarium, Craigtoun Park and The Botanic Gardens. A lot of our properties are within short walking distance from the Old Course, arguably one of the most famous golfing venues in the world.
Besides being ideal for golfing vacations, St Andrews has so much more to offer: - miles of unspoilt sandy beaches. It is a vibrant, beautiful town with a superb theatre, The Crawford arts centre, golf museum, St Andrews museum, cinema and many restaurants.
The centre is small, but has a good range of shops, offering a stress free shopping experience. St Andrews is also an excellent base for exploring the East Neuk of Fife, where there are beautiful old harbour towns, wonderful walks and excellent bird watching. The East Neuk enjoys spectacular coastlines which boasts fishing villages built around picturesque harbours and unspoilt sandy beaches.
The Fife region
Edinburgh is around 1hr away by car or train. Good bus services also. Not forgetting The Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe every August. The famous medieval castle and traditional Military Tattoo.
Glasgow is a little further 1.5hrs drive but offers a lot for art and architecture lovers. It has a singularly beautiful Gothic cathedral, plus Victorian and art nouveau building design at every turn - not to mention the prestigious Burrell Collection of art and the historic turn-of-the-century Tenement House.
Perth is an hour away and is often referred to as ‘The gateway to the Highlands". If you want to experience beautiful hills and explore Scotland further afield this is an excellent place to start.
St Andrews is situated on the east coast of Scotland. A beautiful historic town and a marvellous shopping experience. Excellent restaurants and theatres. It is a marvellous base for exploring the East Neuk of Fife.
The East Neuk is old and fascinating, filled with quaint fishing towns and other little treasures like The Secret bunker which was one of Scotland's best kept secrets, now open to the public to give an insight into the command centre that would have been used in the event of a nuclear war.

Very close to St Andrews is Magus Muir, marked by a cairn, where Archbishop Sharp was murdered in 1679. The murder of Arch Bishop Sharp is re-enacted every year by the students of St Andrews during the Kate Kennedy Procession, held around the end of April.
Also enjoy beautiful walks including the Fife Coastal Walk - Long Distance Footpath around the coast and fishing villages of Fife, with shorter segments that are easier walking than the whole route. Excellent bird watching opportunities.
Auchtermuchty is on the road from Edinburgh to St. Andrews. As the setting for the recent TV episodes of Dr. Finlay's Casebook, it may well be of interest to those travelling to and from St. Andrews.
Dundee is a half hour drive from St Andrews, and offers a good shopping experience, for those looking for the larger stores.

3 Baker Lane was a really lovely place to stay. The flat was spacious, well designed and in a great location for shops and restaurants. The furniture was smart and comfortable and the kitchen facilities were ample to cook family meals. If/when I return to St Andrews, I really hope to stay there again. I unequivocally recommend it.

"A great place to holiday, lots to do, beautiful beaches and scenery and the apartmet was central to it all."
The apartment was very good, in a perfect location for both beaches, bars and restaurants and we thought we might have a problem parking close by for free with it being so central but this wasn't an issue at all. The owner of the apartment made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. He was happy for us to take our dog too which was very important for us as it turned out to be his last summer holiday with us. We are looking forward to going back again at some point and wouldn't hesitate to go book 3B Baker Lane again.

"Fabulous Spacious Apartment in the heart of St Andrews"
Spent a week with my husband and two children in this beautiful apartment, couldn't have asked for a better location, right in the heart of St Andrews with all shops and restaurants basically just round the corner and within easy walking distance to the beach which pleased my children and dog.' The apartment is decorated to a very high standard and alot of attention has been paid to detail, the kitchen was fully equipped should you decide to dine in for the evening. We liked it so much we have already booked it again for next year and are thoroughly looking forward to it.

This is a wonderful flat right in the city centre. Close the the golf course and shops and restaurants. The flat was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with all the comforts of home.

"Perfect central location"
Ideal central location, perfect for a golfing or walking holiday. The apartment was clean and spacious and provided all the required facilities. Free parking was available within a few minutes walk.

"Must stay here if in St. Andrews"
Apartment was awsome. The owner, Peter Keenan, was out of his way hospitable! When I return to St. Andrews, I'll be sure and arrange my travel dates around the availability of this apartment...close to everything, very clean, furnished well and again, Peter Keenan was very accommodating.

"Fantastic Central Location, First Class Accommodation - Highly Recommended!"
My husband and I stayed here for a few days during the summer last year and fell in love with the place! It was a very relaxing area and the property was found to be of a very high standard and quality finish. The property is upstairs so this should perhaps be kept in mind for less able travellers. The flat is very comfortable, spacious and is full of home comforts. If you would rather go to eat though it perfectly located for the local bars, shops and restuarants. Although there is another flat below they are both self contained and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering a break in St Andrews. The area is a lovely place for people from all walks of life and this particular property is a wee gem in the heart of the town!

We loved St Andrews and the location was perfect . Peter was very easy to work with and was very accomodating. Very good value for the property.
