The Cornwall region

Cornwall is a county renowned for it's tourist industry, and St.Agnes is well known for it's friendly welcome to holiday makers. We have varied scenery-all easily reached as we are central and although very rural, only 3miles from the dual carriageway which links with all parts of the county. There is a strong historical link to tin mining in St.Agnes and a very interesting museum on the edge of the village.

The opposite coast(Falmouth and the Helford River) is only 15 miles away and The Garden Flat is an ideal holiday base, being central for visiting The Eden Project,The Lost Gardens of Heligan,St.Ives and The Tate Gallery with Barbara Hepworth's Sculpture Gardens, the Minnack Theatre on the cliffs at Porthcurno which is open for various performances all summer,St.Michael's Mount, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, the Bodmin Steam Railway, various old restored tin mines, many gardens and country houses, wild life sanctuaries and theme parks.

St Agnes

There is something for everyone in St.Agnes("Aggie" as the locals call it). There are two local riding stables, surfing lessons available,a choice of three local beaches, stunning walks(Our neighbours run "The Stompers" and organiselong walks in the area) and a folder of local strolls and walks is left in the property with books and leaflets detailing what's on and where to go.There is a developing music scene in the village and the pubs are becoming well known venues at the weekends for up-and-coming bands. There is a local Tourist Information Centre in the village.A guide and street mapis left in the property and includes useful telephone numbers and details of events in the village.Should you need any help or information,we are close and happy to help.

"Wonderful, relaxing car-free stay"

We just love this place - Julia and Jon are so welcoming, the flat is clean and comfortable and is an ideal base for exploring St Agnes and the coast. You really can go car-free - we didn't use ours once after getting here. The flat has access to Julia's gorgeous peaceful garden, but is close enough to the town with all the shops you need, plenty of bars and restaurants and to the beach and the coast path. Our haven.

Great to know that you enjoy Innisbrook as much as we do!It's lovely to see guests enjoying the garden.Hope to welcome you again.

"Clean, homely and very well equipped flat. We had a lovely stay and were made to feel very welcome."

We had a great stay at the garden flat. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner and son were extremely helpful and made sure our stay ran smoothly. There is a lovely garden for the children to play in and St Agnes beach is short walk away. It has everything you need, even a hose to wash down your wetsuits! Thank you for ensuring we had a fantastic week.

So glad you all had a good time and enjoyed all the visit again!
