The Cornwall region
There's so much to do, see and explore in Cornwall. With the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain, you'll discover tiny Cornish fishing villages, smuggler's coves, countless spectacular beaches and sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and coastlines, plus beautiful moorland and secluded estuaries. There are lots of things Cornwall is well loved for; the dramatic coastline with its captivating fishing harbours, the spectacular beaches and the pounding surf that provide a natural playground for a variety of water sports, and then of course who can forget famous Cornish pasties and luscious cream teas?
But there are also lots of things about Cornwall that may surprise you. For instance, the wilderness of captivating Bodmin Moor with its panorama of big skies and fascinating prehistoric remains. There's also the historical and contemporary art communities in Penwith and St Ives, inspired by the naturally stunning landscape; and more recently a competitive food scene; Cornwall now has a multitude of award-winning local food producers, farmers markets and stellar chefs putting the region well and truly on the gourmet map.
