Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Bryanack is a good quality, three bedroom detached bungalow with the characteristics of a cottage. Set within one acre of grass area, available all year to take advantage of the mild winter, early spring and warm autumn that we are privileged to have in Cornwall. The bungalow has oil fired central heating, a log burning stove for those chilly winter nights and stunning views both over National Trust coastline to the Atlantic Ocean and over open countryside.
Bryanack is very close to the coastal paths, so leave your car behind and enjoy lovely coastal walks to the beaches of Porthtowan and Portreath. Trevaunance Cove is a 90 minute coastal walk and the unspoilt National Trust beach at Chapel Porth is just 1 mile away. St Agnes village has many small shops, inns and restaurants providing a very welcoming atmosphere. There is a bus service to local areas including the city of Truro, approximately 9 miles away, with its many facilities including the train station. St Agnes is ideally placed for many visitor attractions including the famous Eden Project which is approx. 45 minutes drive.
The bungalow is entered via a porch into the open plan living/dining area which is furnished to a high standard and includes a TV, DVD player, CD/radio player and a log burning stove (some fuel supplied). The West Country region
Why go abroad when you can come to Cornwall?!
Dramatic coastline, miles of sandy beaches, picturesque harbours and villages, rugged countryside and a fascinating heritage – Cornwall has something to offer in every season.
A mecca for surfers, Cornwall has dozens of surfing beaches each with their own unique character. Why not try a lesson from one of our surf schools? Cornwall's most popular beaches are lifeguarded throughout the summer, and with many beaches stretching for miles with soft golden sands it's a great place for families to play and relax.
Cornwall is also a walkers' paradise, with over 2,000 miles of public footpaths, including the famous South West Coast Path, amongst other routes and trails. With nearly 1/3 of the county designated as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will never be short of incredible sights in Cornwall, from natural phenomenon such as the bizarre Cheesewring on the wilds of Bodmin Moor, to the causeway at St Michael's Mount or even catching a glimpse of seals lazing on the beach at Mutton Cove!
Close to the main village of St Agnes with its selection of pubs and local shops, St Agnes Beacon is an area of National Trust land incorporating the hill (and Beacon itself of course!) and a large area of colourful heathland ideal for walkers and those wishing to explore the natural beauty of the area. St Agnes Beacon is a quiet spot perfect for just 'getting away from it all'. Cornwall's rich mining history is clear to see here – ruins of old engine houses can be found along the coast path and all around this location. Several coves and beaches are within easy reach, including Trevaunance Cove, Chapel Porth and Trevellas Porth.
