It is the details that make staying at Lambriggan Court such a treat. Like sleeping on deep pocket sprung mattresses with fine cotton bed linens and luxurious Egyptian cotton towels. Or perhaps it is one of the little extras like the basket of freshly laid eggs (from our own free range hens) that we put out each day for our guests. All the cottages have TV, DVD and we provide free WiFi access. Most cottages have wood burning stoves which really come into their own after a bracing Winter walk along the beach!

Guests at Lambriggan Court are free to make the most of our beautiful grounds which extend to about 8 acres of lawns, paddocks, stream and lakes. Our Courtyard Garden has lovely views across the valley and is a great spot to unwind with a drink on a sunny evening. We have four beautiful cottages. The West Country region

In the last decade Cornwall has emerged as one of the world's iconic destinations.

From the dramatic coastline of the north to the sheltered bays in the south, from ancient moorland to soft river estuaries, surfers, walkers, sailing buffs, gastronauts and visitors simply seeking a break from a hectic world have discovered a fascinating, vibrant culture, food to die for and a naturally thrilling adventure playground.

Cornwall has been a natural home to inspiration, art and ideas since the early 19th century. So much so that, apart from London, you'll find nowhere in the whole country that's host to more working artists than Cornwall. The county's dramatic landscape has also provided the backdrop for many a film and TV production.

As a county Cornwall boasts the longest stretch of coastline in the UK with almost 700 km of stunning coastal scenery including more than 300 beaches. This coastline forms a significant part of the South West Coast Path National Trail which offers visitors to Cornwall a huge choice of walks from gentle one hour strolls to week long hikes.

Cornwall is in the privileged position of having two coastlines: the Atlantic coast famous for its surfing beaches and huge expanses of golden sand, and the English Channel coast which is more gentle with hidden coves and tranquil creeks.

Cornwall doesn't only offer visitors an amazing coastline - you can also immerse yourself in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. There are 12 separate sections covering the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. These are precious landscapes whose distinctive character and natural beauty are so outstanding that it is in the nation's interest to protect them. These areas include the Camel Estuary which is famous for its tidal river valley which at low tide provides essential habitats for its wildlife, Bodmin Moor with its wild expanses or rolling moorland and prominent tors, the Lizard Peninsula which is criss-crossed by a fascinationg network of medieval enclosures and Bronze Age settlements, and the Helford River which is technically a drowned valley or "ria" comprising of gently wooded creekside which are sheltered from the prevailing winds by the Lizard Peninsula.

St Agnes

Lambriggan Court occupies a peaceful rural location around 2 miles from each of St Agnes and Perranporth.

St Agnes is an authentic and charming village with a tin mining and fishing heritage. It has a lovely beach at Trevaunance Cove surrounded by high cliffs which give it shelter from prevailing winds. It also has a good range of traditional pubs, shops and galleries.

Perranporth boasts a 3 mile stretch of wide, golden sandy beach. It is a great surfing beach and the surf culture is a real presence here with numerous surf shops lining the main street. There is also The Watering Hole, England's only pub that is situated right on the beach. It is a great place to have a drink and watch the beautiful sunsets that Perranporth often gets, facing almost due West. Perranporth also has a good range of local shops.

Truro, the capital of Cornwall, is only 8 miles from Lambriggan Court. It has an impressive cathedral and many shops, galleries and a museum.
