A paradise for surfers all year round. From scenic estuaries and sheltered bays where children can splash around in gentle waves to broad open beaches that allow the Atlantic to deliver it's full force in breath-taking beauty. Add to this a wide range of holiday attractions, challenging golf courses, cycle trails and a host of leisure activities, this is an area with plenty to entertain and charm anyone and is the setting for many television dramas such as BBC's Poldark.

St Agnes

St Agnes is an unspoilt spot on the North Cornish coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. It is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall with access to some stunning coast paths and walks. The view from St Agnes towards St Ives is breathtaking. At low tide you can walk from Chapel Porth to Porthtowan beach. Perranporth beach is huge and family/surfer friendly and only 3.5 miles away, 9 minutes by car. The charming cathedral city of Truro is just 9 miles. Newquay and it's popular surfing beaches and culture is 12 miles along a beautiful coastal road, whilst the surfing breaks around St Agnes are the best in North Cornwall. "Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location!"

A beautiful cottage, kept immaculately. The owners attention to detail made it a step above others we have stayed in - everything has been thought of to make your stay so comfortable. A wonderful location - in the heart of a lovely village (and a minute away from the best ever bakery), and a short walk to a beautiful beach and cove. We ventured out and about in Cornwall but could have spent the entire week in St Agnes and been happy. Thanks!

"Picturesque Cornish beauty, a home from home."

After a few hours thawing out on the couch this December we decided that No. 2 could well be credited with introducing the concept of the boutique self-catering holiday. As frequent visitors to St. Agnes we've often taken the picturesque Stippy Stappy path into town and having noticed the property on Trip Advisor we were keen to explore. Almost all eventualities seems to be catered for by the owners, from the garden area and optimistic barbecue outside, to the books, dvds and wi-fi in the house. A stone's throw from the centre of town, five minutes from the coast and more importantly, the Driftwood Spa (with its own microbrewery and roaring fires) No. 2 made for a perfect pre-christmas getaway and we can't wait to find another excuse to get back there. A total home-from-home, the only problem is dragging yourself away.
