The West Country region

Centrally situated on the north Cornish coast, St Agnes is a picturesque fishing village steeped in history. With beaches and secret coves stretching in both directions along the coast, the scenery is as stunning as it is unique.

Atlantic House is perfectly situated for exploring the many coastal and village footpaths and, for the less adventurous, only a few minutes' stroll from the beach at Trevaunance Cove, where you can shake out a blanket, kick back, relax and breathe in the fresh sea air.

St Agnes

St Agnes is a vibrant village with a thriving year-round local community and plenty of amenities :

Convenience Stores, Greengrocers, Butchers, Bakery, Post Office, Bank, Chemist, Newsagents, Surf Shop, Florist, Beauty Salons, Hairdressers

as well as a range of cafes, pubs, take-aways and restaurants to suit every taste and budget.

If the outdoors is your thing then this is the place for you. As well as a reputation for excellent sea fishing, St Agnes is synonymous with surfing and is home to one of the UK's oldest surfing communities, but also boasts one of the safest bathing beaches on the north Cornish coast.

Other watersports, such as Kayaking, Kitesurfing and Coasteering, have become very popular in recent years and are enjoyed by many of our guests.

For those preferring land-based activities, there is Golf, Horse Riding, Gliding, Cycling Tours, Brewery Tours and a Skate Park (one of the UK's longest running), to mention a few, as well as a couple of Children's Playgrounds to keep the little ones happy.

There are numerous Art & Crafts Studios to browse, St Agnes Museum to discover the fascinating mining and village history and a Social Calendar of entertaining events throughout the year.

St Agnes is a very family friendly village that really is suitable for all ages.
