Just 11 miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed, this wonderful little building has been lovingly converted and boasts exposed timbers and sloping ceilings throughout. With an unusual 'upside down' layout, the open plan living space is situated on the first floor to better take advantage of the spectacular sea views. The cottage is well served by local amenities and is within easy driving distance of both Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh, the political capital of Scotland.

St Abbs

With a delightful harbour and a knot of fishermen's cottages nestled amongst the hillside, St. Abbs is a picturesque fishing village situated on a beautiful stretch of Berwickshire coastline. Just over the Border into Scotland, this charming location offers a wide variety of activities. The St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve is home to a number of rare species of birds and wildlife whilst the Cheviots, Scottish Borders and spectacular coastline all offer great walking opportunities. Less than a mile away in Coldingham, there is a safe, sandy beach, or if you prefer a more urban environment the historic fortified Border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh are both close by. Berwick offers a museum and a castle whilst off the coast, the Farne Islands remain popular attractions amongst bird watchers and lovers of Lindisfarne Mead.
