This is an exceptionally sunny apartment, located in the best residental area in Split (Meje).The apartment is in 10 minute walk from a very popular beach, swimming pool and a yacht club ACI. It is located in a quite street among pine trees. Also apartment is 5-10 minutes walking distance from the centre of Split, bus station, ferry, train and bus for the airport. Apartment have three bedroom (first one with double bed, second with double bed and third one with one bed) , dining room, kitchen, bathroom, WC ,total area 100m². This apartment also have terrace with flowers, total area 50m². From a terrace is beautiful view on the port, yacht club and islands. It is ideal for 5 people. Whole place have air conditioning and TV.

The Dalmatia region

Split / Meje area

About Split:
The first inhabitant of Split was the Roman emperor Diocletian who started to build his palace in this friendly bay around 293 AD. After his abdication he withdrew to this luxurious palace of about 30 thousand square meters.

The following turbulent centuries made the palace into a town first populated by the citizens of the nearby Salona, fleeing before Avars and Slavs. The town overgrew the walls of the palace and its authorities kept changing - from Croatian kings in 10th century AD, Hungarian and Venetian administration, to French rulers and Austro-Hungarian monarchy.

The big city today lives by the silent beats of history, lively spirit of the young and its particular Mediterranean charm.

The city of Split is situated in the warmest region of the northern Mediterranean mild climate, with 2700 sunny hours per year, makes it an oasis where, sheltered from the wind, one can enjoy the sun even in wintertime. The university, and business centre of the region nourishes its "green soul" on the hill Marjan situated in the westernmost part of the peninsula. Its forested park infringed by the city and the sea offers pleasant walks away from the city noise under the pines by the sea.

Meje is elite part of Split placed on southern side of park Marjan.It has beautiful clean beaches, and is near Diocletians palace.It is the most popular place for walk and jogging by the sea or in the park Marjan.

How to get there

As of 31st October 2006, five airlines have direct, scheduled flights from the UK to Croatia: British Airways, Easyjet, Wizz Air, Ryanair and Croatia Airlines, whilst Aer Lingus have flights from Dublin to Dubrovnik.
