The pool and BBQ are located at high level behind the the villa with stunning views of the mountains to the rear, and with views over the villa to Omis bay and the islands. The villa offers spectacular views all around and is south facing, so enjoys all day sunshine, and with over 200sq.m. of patios and balconys, it is always possible to find a sunny or shady place to relax.
Below, just a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk away, is the historic medieval town of Omis with all modern amenities, a sandy beach with a safe clear bay in which to swim, and is where the river Cetina enters the sea. The river and the canyon behind the villa, not only provides the most wonderful scenery, but also affords a myriad of outdoor activities including canoeing, white water rafting, climbing, mountain biking ect. The hiking is particularly outstanding along paths through the wooded slopes to the mountain ridges. The walk from the villa to the Venetian fort directly above, from where there is an excellent view of the Cetina, is a fine example.
Villa Atopos is perfectly positioned to provide for both a peaceful break in a beautiful quiet setting, and a base from where to persue numerous outdoor sporting activities. Split is approximately a 25 minute drive away and Split airport a further 20 minutes.

Because of its central position on the eastern coast of the Adriatic sea, the district of Split and Dalmatia has always had an extraordinary cultural and historical role. This entire rounded area consist of a wide hinterland through which flows the river Cetina, and of a coastal belt with an archipelago with many islands. Generous nature has garnished this rich and heterogeneous area with hidden bays, beaches, cliffs, karst, emerald groves, sea straits and vast hight seas. The islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis are wide, with beautiful landscapes and hierarchies of bigger and smaller settlements seem to be threaded on a string along the coast. Mediterranean reaches, consists of a mountainous landscape with karst, wide fields and settlements, among which Sinj and Imotski have got urban characteristics.
