The Dalmatia region
The remarkable amalgamation of natural wonders, enriched by the Antique, old Croatian, Roman and folk architecture which is to be seen on the islands and along the coast, in the towns and urban centres, offers its guests a wide variety of opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. It offers sleep-inducing silence as well, but also tumultuous Mediterranean nights vibrant with southern spirit.
Located here are two towns listed in UNESCO's Register of World Cultural Heritage - Trogir and Split, as well as the remains of the ancient town of Salona, long ago the centre of the Roman Province of Dalmatia. today the largest archaeological site on the east coast of the Adriatic.
