The location gives you a sense of intimacy, so it is perfect for those seeking for retreat from the civilization, peace and quiet.

Cottages are surrounded with pine woods, so the location is a good starting point for those looking for some adventure in the woods or hiking.

The estate can hold up to 8 people.

The cottages cannot be rented individually.

The cottages are air-conditioned. Each has 2 bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with a kitchen, and a toilette.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and refrigirator.

Each cottage has an outside wooden table, benches and a stone sink. This, along with an outside firepace, gives you the feeling of an authentic traditional way of life.

Due to its fantastic location, the cottages are very well connected with the continental part of Dalmatia, the beautiful beaches along the coast, the islands (Brac, Hvar, Vis etc.), and nearby cities listed on the UNESCO list of world heritage sites (Split, Trogir, Sibenik).

There is also an option of taking a one day trip to the pearl of the Dalmatian coast, the city of Dubrovnik, as well as visiting some of world renowned Croatian national parks such as the Plitvice lakes, Krka waterfalls and more.

The Dalmatia region

Dalmatia is a historical region of Croatia on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. The hinterland, the Dalmatian Zagora, ranges from fifty kilometres in width in the north to just a few kilometres in the south.

The Dalmatian breed of dog received its name from Dalmatia, as did the dalmatic, a Roman Catholic liturgical vestment worn by deacons and bishops.

The name Dalmatia derives from the name of the Dalmatae tribe - the Romans had great difficulties conquering them, so they named the whole province after the tribe to show their respects. It is alsoconnected with the Illyrian word delme meaning "sheep".

In antiquity the Roman province of Dalmatia was much larger than the present-day Split-Dalmatia County, stretching from Istria in the north to historical Albania in the south. Dalmatia signified not only a geographical unit, but was an entity based on common culture and settlement types, a common narrow eastern Adriatic coastal belt, Mediterranean climate, sclerophyllous vegetation of the Illyrian province, Adriatic carbonate platform, and karst geomorphology.

Among other things, the ecclesiastical primatical territory today continues to be larger because of the history: it includes part of modern Montenegro, notably around the city of Bar, the (honorary) Roman Catholic primas of Dalmatia, but an exempt archbishopric without suffragans while the archbishoprics of Split (also a historical primas of Dalmatia) have provincial authority over all Croatian dioceses except the exempt archbishopric of Zadar.

The southernmost transitional part of Dalmatia, the Gulf of Kotor, is part of Montenegro and considered in Dalmatia by some sources
