About the home

Although the house has been renovated to modern standards, the area still retains the spirit of ancient glories to which is added the romantic narrow curving alleyways, old stone houses with their picturesque courtyards, not forgetting the all encompassing azure blue sea and sky and Adriatic climate.

Due to its convenient position there will be no need for your car during your stay in Split. Everything to make a relaxing stay is close to hand – the center of the city, sea promenade, Marjan hill, numerous beaches, shops, ferry port, coach station, can all be reached on foot whilst benefiting from the balmy Mediterranean air.

The fish market, fruit market, hairdressers, butchers, chemists (pharmacies), are all within a minute's stroll from our house as are the fashionable restaurants and coffee shops which abound in Split.

The largest city on the Croatian side of the Adriatic Sea, that apart from rich cultural offerings, offers great choice of recreational and sports activity, and also strong culinary experiences and intense nigh life. The city where it is not possible to decide what is the most beautiful season, as every season is as special and beautiful, full of diverse possibilities and pleasantly spent time.

If you arrive in Split centre with airport shuttle bus or ferry or train or intercity bus, you will exit them in the corner of center city sea promenade - RIVA. To reach TerraMaris accommodation you should stroll across RIVA to big church SVETI FRANE. Right from the church (aprox. 100m) is street KRIZEVA ULICA.

Take a walk up the Krizeva street and after 50m (second little street on the right) is beginning of street RADMILOVICEVA ULICA.

Than just proceed to RADMILOVICEVA strret - number 58. And here you are. Welcome!

“Fantastic stay in a beautiful city.” We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2012 and can't say enough about the host (Nikola) and the apartment. The apartment really is a five minute walk from the old town so you're close to all the shops and action but away from the noise. It's also a short walk from the park with some very nice swimming beaches. Taking a tip from Nikola we rented bikes on one of our mornings and spent some time exploring the area and then stopped for a swim at a very nice little beach a few minutes' ride from the entrance to the park. The room was spacious enough for the three of us (although the second bed did cramp things a little bit) and we really appreciated the little patio at the back of the apartment. The antiques, the recessed lighting and the exposed beams created a very comfortable and inviting space and the whole apartment was scrupulously clean. After a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Split we moved on to Venice only to discover that our daughter she had left her camera in the bedside table back in Split... With three week's worth of pictures from the first part of trip on it, she was devastated and we were pretty sure it was gone for good... After a couple of quick emails with Nikola, we were relieved to hear that he'd found it where she'd left it and were pleasantly surprised, when we tried to make arrangements with him to have it shipped back to us in Canada, to discover that he'd already boxed it up and sent it on its way back to one very grateful teenager! We would recommend Nikola and Terra Maris Studio Brown to anyone!

“Great location and more” Stayed in Studio1. Room was lovely, clean and stayed a nice cool temperature when it was hot out. Walking distance to Palace and the marina.
