This pleasant cottage is within a mile of Spiddal coastal village and 12 miles from the cosmopolitan city of Galway. Spiddal is part of the Gaelteacht and has a craft centre that boasts a variety of workshops offering an authentic reflection on Irish art and craft. This is an ideal touring base, the house is nicely presented throughout, with wooden floors and comfy furnishings, and convenient to do the circular tour of Connemara via the coast and returning via Lough Corrib. Locally there's a sandy beach and there are several golf courses in the area. A frequent boat service to the Aran Islands makes a grand day out. Great memories and friendships are made in the West.

Golf ¼ miles. Horse riding, Cycling, Coastal walks ½ miles. Walking ¾ miles. Childrens Playground, Traditional Music, Fishing 1 miles. Cinema 10 miles.
