Inverin is the location of the Connemara airport, which has daily flights to the Aran Islands.

The County Galway/County Clare region

Inverin is one of the most scenic villages in Connemara with fabulous sea views along the coast and a fine sandy beach. This beach was the scene of a local tragedy in 1917, when a German mine washed up on the beach and killed nine local people who came to examine it.

This charming chalet is set on the grounds of the owners home. It is a quality property, decorated with charm and style to fill visitors with that warm felling of "home from home". A perfect touring base with Aran Islands, Galway City, Connemara National Park, Kylemore, The Burren, Salthill all of which are a must see and easily accessible for day trips. Spiddal 5 miles away has great craft shops perfect for picking up unique gifts, fantastic restaurants and pubs many of which have traditional music on offer. From here you have an abundance of exciting activities on offer, come rain or shine.

Inverin or Inveran is a village in Connemara between Spiddal and Casla (Costelloe) in County Galway. Inverin is more strongly Irish-speaking than Spiddal, partly due to fewer commuters from Galway living there. There are a number of Irish-language summer colleges in the area, most notably Coláiste Lurgan and Coláiste Uí Chadhain.
