This airy beach front apartment is an end unit which has the advantage of two side doors giving fresh breezes through the living area, has cool tiled floors and a large sundeck which makes for a romantic location. Dine under the stars or have breakfast alfresco. The sound of the ocean echoes through the apartment as the crystal clear Caribbean sea laps just thirty metres away and is a place that evokes the sensual elements of island life, rich turquoise water edged with hot white sands and sunsets and stars by night. Maid service is available.
The apartment is a close walk to shops, banks restaurants or to Port St Charles beach as well as the white sand beach outside the apartment.
I can organise use of a shared swimming pool in Holetown some 10 minutes drive away as I have a property there which gives you access. This is at the Beach House where there is a restaurant also.

The Saint Peter Parish region
Barbados is perfect for those who want crystal clear beaches, a perfect tropical climate, and a well mannered friendly atmosphere. The island is cooled by sea breezes but still boasts a sunnier and drier climate than surrounding islands.
The island boasts a host of excellent romantic dining experiences in its sophisticated restaurants such as The Cliff which is rated as one of the top Restaurants in the world by The Times.
For the sporting type Barbados has many golf courses and tennis courts, or horse racing and polo for those who prefer to be the spectators. The island is fantastic for snorkelling and scuba diving due to the coral reefs surrounding the island.
Barbados is home to the Green Monkey which may be seen around the island.
This beautiful property completed in 2007 is located on the West Coast of BARBADOS within walking distance of Speightstown.
This is real Barbados with exotic fruit and vegetables sold on the streets. A small road runs between the beach and the apartment and you may see a turtle emerge from the ocean to lay her eggs right here. You can walk north to Port St Charles beach where priceless vessels are moored, in 10 minutes, or south to another bay where Claudette Colbert used to live and entertain stars such as Frank Sinatra. Sunbeds available for the beach.
Supermarkets and all shopping facilities are within walking distance. Sophisticated restaurants such as The Cliff and Sandy Lane are located in a 5 mile radius and also in Speightstown. The road to the east coast with its wild surf and natural beauty is easily accessible. Shops, banks and restaurants are within walking distance as is Reefers and Wreckers Dive Shop The Fishermans Pub, Cobblers Cove and The Orange Street Grocers. The charming coral stone restaurant The Fish Pot is a short drive away and is perfect for lunch.

"A Corner of Real Barbados"
This was our second stay at the apartment in this delightfully traditional part of Barbados and hopefully won't be our last. Jude's apartment is superbly located within a short walk of Speightstown, which is not unduly commercialised, but which offers sufficient to meet one's daily shopping and eating requirements.
One cannot find fault with the apartment which is spacious, bright and airy, with views from the balcony towards the sea, which are breathtaking, particularly at sunset. The accommodation is generous and Jude has thought of everything in the way she has furnished and equipped the apartment, to provide a home from home experience, except you are very clearly in the Caribbean! For us, a car isn't necessary, as the frequent buses (running from a terminus visible from Jude's place!) provide a great way to visit most parts of the island. The road south from Speightstown takes you along the fascinating West Coast, whilst nearby Holetown will satisfy the shopper perhaps requiring that little something extra.
Everything combined to make this a wonderfully relaxing holiday.
