The St Peter Parish region

Your holidays in Port St Charles will enjoy a sub tropical climate. As your self catering villa or condo will be located on the west coast of the island, you will tend to find that this is the more sheltered coast. Temperatures are fairly consistent all year round: usually in the low thirties degrees Celsius. Rainfall is usually at its peak from June to October, but even then, still expect to enjoy plenty of warm and sunny days.

We also have the ability to put you in touch with watersport and diving professionals close by.

Nearby Speightstown is a delightful old port with historic charm and an unspoilt character all of its own. With art gallieries, museum, rum shacks and the occasional ATM, this is a town not to be missed. Within 20 mins walking distance of your apartment, along the beach, this town offers a host of facilities. Mangoes by the sea is a fine dining restaurant situated on the beach. There are also high end shops and a convenient supermarket.

Within 20 minutes car/bus ride there is the larger town of Holetown with many modern facilities and restaurants.

Recently built is a designer centre called Lime Grove, which includes a luxury cinema and a "buzzy" high end bar. There is also a charming Chattel House shopping area selling local arts and crafts.

Speightstown

Situated on the sheltered west coast of this holiday island paradise, Port St Charles offers luxury self catering villas and condos to its permanent residents; it also has fantastic accommodation available to tourists and this is one part of the Caribbean you should not miss.

Holidays in Port St Charles are all about total rest and relaxation. This is an affluent and quiet resort and therefore facilities are designed to remain in keeping with this theme. That said, there is still the opportunity to enjoy swimming within the area and the restaurants and other facilities are all of the highest possible standard. For the ultimate in opulent luxury, the resort even has its own heliport for the transportation of guests to and from Grantley Adams Airport.

Also close by is NIcholas Abbey, a beautiful old Plantation House, with a rum tasting from the distillery.

If you were wondering what to do on your holidays in Port St Charles, we have plenty of attractions to suggest that will fill any length of holiday. One of the island’s top tourist attractions has to be Harrison Caves which are located toward the centre of Barbados. Here you will hop on a train that will take you deep into the caves underground. This will provide you with a better understanding of how this island was formed, geologically, and all members of your travel party will be fascinated by the tour. Barbados has an immense history to uncover and there are numerous attractions devoted to this: from historic plantations to museums. Barbados Museum will always be an ideal choice here. The island is also proud of its flora and fauna and you can catch sneaky peeks of this at places like Orchid World and The Andromeda Botanical Gardens. For a complete change, visit the rugged and sparsely populated East Coast.
