Feb 2015 - "It was some years ago that we enjoyed PSC and your delightful apartment. As before we enjoyed lots of early morning swims in the sea (occasionally accompanied by some cute little turtles) and lovely walks along the waters edge plus even some yoga on the helipad! The Sunset isle and pool within the PSC marina was also most enjoyable. The apartment, as before, is wonderful with that fanatastic view and the best balcony in the world for relaxing. Once again we enjoyed our stay in Barbados immensely and won't leave it so long before returning!"

May 2014 - "What an absolute joy it was to return to Port St Charles over the Easter break. When in need of some rest and relaxation, there is only one place that I would want to be. The weather was fantastic as ever and one never fails to be impressed by the truly stunning surroundings of Port St Charles. The view from the balcony of 254 is quite remarkable...a real picture postcard complete with all the special effects that the Bajan sunsets have to offer. In addition the housekeeping service we received from “Kristi” was superb - always on hand to offer suggestions on where to visit and make bookings on our behalf. As always, it was over far too soon but we are already planning our return visit."
March 2014 - "This was my first time visiting Port St Charles and I was very impressed. Having previously stayed at hotels on the island, it was lovely to stay at 254. The apartment is spacious and beautifully presented which makes for a perfect setting. Breakfasts on the balcony with the gorgeous views over the Marina and evening meals, as accompanied by beautiful sunsets and under the stars, creates a picturesque setting which is hard to beat. A short walk or a water taxi ride across the Marina brings you to the “stunning” beach. Although all the beaches in Barbados are public, this really feels like a private beach as it is so peaceful and tranquil and a wonderful way to relax in the sunshine. As well as this, the Yacht club is on hand to provide excellent food and drinks and we spent a lot of time there, relaxing by the pool and swimming in the sea just off the jetty. All in all, a fantastic holiday and I am very much looking forward to returning to Port St Charles and 254."
June 2013 - " Many thanks for our stay at PSC, it was everything we had hoped for and more. We thought the apartment was beautiful with by far the best location looking down the Marina and out to sea. The view is now on my mobile so every time I look I am reminded of that lovely location and holiday."
May 2013 - "Wow! What a fantastic apartment with fantastic views in a fantastic location with fantastic people! We will start saving immediately to return as soon as possible."

March 2012 - "Thank you for letting us use your lovely apartment, what luxury plus those incredible views out over the lagoon and sea. So very peaceful and relaxing - we were able to completely unwind."
Feb 2012 - "The apartment is the perfect holiday home with stunning views of the sunset, ocean and lagoon, a spacious balcony and living areas and kitchen, everything you need. The whole apartment oozes a relaxed atmosphere and is very hard to leave. We enjoyed exploring the island and for quiet relaxing days we headed for the PSC beach through the private white gate and topped up our vitamin "D" - very quiet and relaxing with PSC residents provided with loungers and large sun shades. PSC offers everything and more with the resort hosting its own "Sunset bar" and pool, Yacht Club and restaurant, gym, tennis courts, hairdressers and a complimentary water taxi to ferry you to and fro. All of which makes the lazy, sunny days around the resort so very appealing and so very hard to leave!
Jan 2012 - "What can we say - "Paradise"! We expected PSC to be wonderful but it exceeded all our expectations! Thank you for letting us use your beautiful apartment. Everything was so beautiful and so tastefully decorated. We felt totally relaxed and at home, spending a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view. What a fabulous location! We also loved the beach, which was never crowded and spent a lot of time in the lovely warm, clear water. We did all your suggested walks, hired a car for a day and went to North Point then down the East coast to Bathsheba and on to Hunt's Gardens. We also treated ourselves to Sunday Brunch at Sandy Lane which was magnificent, although we considered "our" beach better! Thank you so much, we didn't want to come back and would love to go again if we may."

July 2011 - "The apartment is stunning and the location equally impressive. We had a great holiday so many thanks for letting us use your lovely home."

About this location
The Saint Peter Parish region
If you can free yourself from the Port St Charles "haven" there is much to see around this friendly coral island with its history, old plantation style houses and estates (e.g. nearby St Nicholas Abbey), 16th century churches (e.g. nearby St Peter's or St Lucy's), brightly coloured chattel houses all of which are surrounded by pristine white beaches with the sparkling Caribbean sea on the West and South coasts and the craggy coastlines and sandy bays on the Atlantic North and East coasts – the latter being a surfers paradise with big Atlantic rollers at Bathsheba. The clear blue skies, white beaches, refreshing trade winds and turquoise seas makes Barbados a very romantic place to get away from it all and to just 'chill out'.
Port St Charles offers everything and more. There is much to see in the immediate locality - Speightstown itself very much reflects Barbados history and is known as "Little Bristol" emmanating from its past sugar cane and rum exporting trade to Bristol in England. The Speightstown museum fully illustrates this and the Bajan culture over the centuries. The town reflects this old Caribbean port's history with its fish market and a variety of shops (+ modern supermarkets), street vendors and bars with the Fisherman's pub providing a sea front taste of local food and rum!
Restaurants in Speightstown include "Mango's" and the classy "Cobblers Cove" whilst just north of PSC past "Six Mens' Bay" is the highly regarded "Fishpot ". A little further down the coast is the highly recommended "Lone Star" restaurant together with Holetown's "Tides" and "Zaccio's" restaurants and nearby Sandy Lane's Bajan Blue restaurant (+ floor show) plus many more.
Should you need to work off those calories there is the PSC gym and tennis courts on site plus swimming/snorkeling in the sparkling Caribbean. A sheltering reef off PSC's South beach allows for easy swimming and snorkelling where you maybe escorted on and off the reef by the delightfully coloured parrot fish. For serious divers see "Reefers & Wreckers" who are based in Speightstown - www.Scuberdiving.com
For relaxing walks there is nothing better than to walk along the beach shell collecting, whilst inland walks up and over the ridge will allow you panoramic sea views over "PSC" and Speightstown.
For the golfers there are numerous courses throughout the island including Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane and Apes Hill all within 3/4 miles.
PSC and its "safe haven" marina has increasingly become the destination of various cross Atlantic challenges be it rowers or yachtsmen!I There is a full range of boats and super yachts to view and many a "fishy" tale to listen to! It may well be that there is the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip and/or some fishing.
