B&B | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 16
Homely, quiet, interesting and inviting, this little guest house is a well-kept secret . Set in the middle of the beautiful 15-hectare orange grove, in the valley of mount Taygetus, the guest house is a wonderfully quiet, agro-tourist retreat, with a twist of urban architecture.
Four elegant en suite- bedrooms, a lovely garden, and a relaxed dining area comprise this small warm and friendly accommodation.
The four independent houses are tastefully decorated with warm colours, stylish paintings and recycled furniture. The ground floor, which opens onto the garden, has a lounging area with lush cushions where one can enjoy a wide variety of books from the small library situated over the fireplace. Each house is also equipped with a small kitchenette for preparing quick snacks from fresh produce off the garden, if one feels like preparing a simple meal. The top floor is perfect to snuggle up and “cocoon” in bed with a good book on a cold winter day and enjoy the view of the mountains, often covered in snow until the early spring months. There is also a cosy living/dining room where week enders enjoy as well as the great breakfast, home cooked meals and relax by the fire. A homely inviting family guest house situated in the middle of the central Peloponnese.

The Peloponnese region
The mountains of Mount Taygetus, are heavily forested and provide a large choice of well marked hiking trail. The mountain is a popular hiking destination and is part of the European walking route E4. The view from the top includes most of the Evrotas valley and the Parnon range to the east, while the view towards the west includes Kalamata and the eastern half of Messenia. Most of the south-western part of Arcadia can also be seen from the summit. We can arrange maps, packed lunches or full-blown pick-nicks to ensure a perfect experience.
The area of Sparta offers a variety of choices in sightseing. The Awarded Museum of Olive Oil in Sparta, the ancient theatre, the modern city of Sparta with it's neoclassical heritage are amongst our recommendations of interest in the area.
Should you wish to visit the sea front, Mavrovouni beach is only 45 minutes away and offers a variety of beaches.
The old Byzantibe citadel of Mystras, as seen from your balcony, is also a must and do contact us to arrange an expert tour of the site.
