About the home
Our one bedroom garden apartment sleeps up to 4 people and is conveniently located between the four stunning pool areas and within easy reach of the Reception Area, Supermarket, Restaurants and Pool-side Bars and Beach. It has cool terracotta tiling throughout and air-conditioning. From the terrace there is a view over Tsar's Bay and the evening sunsets. We also have a beautiful, ideally located two bedroom apartment with fantastic views over the main swimming pool and the sea beyond. Santa Marina now offers tennis courts and tennis coaching as well as a football/basketball area.
There is a private beach with beach bar, parasols, sun loungers for the sole use of Santa Marina residents, beach volleyball with an adjacent public beach (Kings Beach) from where various water sports are available.

The apartment is located on the ground floor with stunning sea view of King's Bay (Tsar's Bay). There is a spacious open plan kitchen, dining/living area with french doors opening onto the terrace. The terrace is fully equipped with dining table and chairs for four.
The fully fitted kitchen includes hob, microwave, iron, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils.

The Black Sea Coast region


The Black Sea Coast near Sozopol is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Little bays and rocky promontories make it ideal for snorkelling, rock-pooling and fishing. The Black Sea summer sunshine combined with long stretches of sandy beaches offer ample opportunity for swimming and sunbathing.
The Sozopol / Santa Marina Holiday Village area
Santa Marina Holiday Village itself overlooks Tsars Beach and, as it is protected by the Sozopol Peninsula, offers very safe bathing for all ages, as well as a wide range of water sports. It offers excellent windsurfing, as well as pedalos, jet-skis and banana boats.
Sozopol itself is a historical town from the Byzantine period. Built on a rocky peninsular, the cobbled streets wind around traditional wooden houses. The Old Town is home to numerous cafes and open-air restaurants, many with stunning views, as well as offering a taste of Bulgarian cuisine.
The New Town of Sozopol and Sozopol main beach provide vibrant beach culture and nightlife.

"We have spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks in your clean,comfortable, well-equipped apartment. We were impressed with the standard of fittings - especially the bathroom which has one of the largest showers we have seen!! The apartment is quiet but is very well located - the supermarket (well stocked and inexpensive), pools, restaurants etc are all a few minutes walk away. The complex is attractively laid out with lots of trees - it is well maintained. I would have no hesitation in recommending it."

Mature couple 45-55 stayed end of August 2010.We really enjoyed the complex Santa Maria and highly recommend this apartment. The swimming pools are fantastic and the complex has everything you need for a great holiday. Private beach with lift for easy access. Easy to get into Sozopol by the little train, Bus or Taxi for a couple of pounds. Sozopol has a lovely old town and bustling new town with more than enough bars and restaurants to last a couple of weeks. The prices (both in the complex and the town) are really cheap compared to mediterranean resorts. Apartment is clean and tidy with a terrace area for evening drinks. We would use this apartment again. Dave
"We had a brilliant time at Santa Marina at the beginning of June. When it was sunny we were able to sunbathe around the different pools and on the beach, and when the sun wasn't out, we had a lovely time wandering around the old town, looking at the old buildings and the markets. The Windmill restaurant overlooking the sea was a brilliant experience with Bulgarian traditional dancing and excellent service. For its location and for what it offered, it was very reasonably priced. We had a brilliant time, and will return again." Tamsyn
“We really enjoyed our holiday at the Santa Marina resort. The apartment was ideal for our little family – a couple and one teenage boy, being well equipped with everything we needed, including being able to self-cater. The resort had a good choice of restaurants and bars, a well stocked supermarket and the swimming pools were brilliant. There was even a private beach, so we didn’t need to leave the resort. However, we did enjoy visiting the nearby town, especially in the evenings, which was a cheap taxi or minibus ride away, with its lovely market, restaurants and shops.

"We really enjoyed staying in this comfortable and well appointed apartment just steps from the spacious main pool. The reception area has plenty of space and the two shower rooms are modern and roomy. It was so lovely being able to eat our breakfast on the verandah and then go straight to the pool. The children particularly enjoyed the pizza restaurant and games room by one of the pools. We had a delicious meal in the main restaurant with a table overlooking the bay at sunset. Transportation into Sozopol with its many restaurants and bars is cheap and easy using the taxis from the reception of the complex. We would definitely return."
