The Hall has recently changed ownership and is currently undergoing some redecoration and renovation work, including bathroom and kitchen refurbishment and therefore photos of the interior are unavailable at present but are expected to be available very shortly. However, we at Heritage Hideaways already know the house well and would be pleased to discuss the work in progress and take bookings from 1st May, 2008.
The house is also available for weddings, special events and corporate entertainment.
For a great combination of a holiday in the country with the seaside just a few miles away, Shadingfield Hall provides everything you might wish for from a big house in the country. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the peaceful location in the spacious accommodation provided and enjoy the games room inside and the above ground swimming pool outside.
Also available with the house is the Lodge which sleeps 4 people very comfortably and has room for 2 extra people on a sofa bed in the sitting room. The Lodge is just behind the big house across the herb garden and would be a great place for Granny and Grandad to stay!
Just 15 minutes drive away is the popular seaside town of Southwold with its wonderful array of pubs supplied by the resident brewery of Adnams beers, restaurants, cafes, shops, the Pier, boat rides, fishing and crabbing activities, fresh fish on sale and numerous outlets selling excellent local produce. In addition, a bi-weekly Farmer's Market takes place a few miles away and the region is just bursting with delicious things to buy and places to eat.
