This house is the perfect place for a traditional seaside family holiday, or a weekend away for a reunion of friends or family. It has every amenity from gas AGA, drinks fridge, conservatory, paved terrace and BBQ, very comfortable furnishings and spacious bedrooms. The sitting room is on the first floor to take advantage of the wonderful seaside views, where one can sit and enjoy the ever changing views of the sea, the sunlight, the people and the weather as the conditions change. No wonder Southwold is a mecca for artists, writers, musicians and actors.
This elegant Edwardian town has a variety of festivals and events through the year from literary festivals in autumn, the summer theatre run by the Jill Freud Company, the Jazz Festival on the Pier, the Beach Rugby 7's Tourament and The Steam Engine Exhibition.
In addition, there are a variety of art galleries, museums, shops and restaurants, not to mention the local Adnams beer brewed in Southwold and their Wine and Kitchen shop too. The Pier was renovated a few years ago and now provides delightful entertainment with some of the orginal equipment on display, a variety of restaurants and a good walk to the end of the Pier for an unusual and unique view of Southwold and its famous beach huts.
