About the home

The bungalow is situated in the quiet village of Reydon about a mile from the small seaside town of Southwold. Reydon has two shops and the Randolph Hotel that serves excellent food and Adnams Ales. Southwold offers many pubs, cafes, theatre, golf, boat trips, beach, church and award winning pier.

Salt marshes, heathland and the RSPB Reserve at Minsmere all lie within eight miles of the property. Walberswick, Dunwich and Aldeburgh are all within easy reach. The attractive small towns of Beccles and Bungay in the Waveney Valley are worth visiting too.

Summer Haze is a comfortable and spacious bungalow. The entrance hall leads to a good sized sitting room with kitchen and dining room beyond. The well-fitted kitchen has a split-level cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and fridge. The bathroom has a wash hand basin, w.c. and an electric shower above the bath.

The bungalow has one bedroom with a double bed and tv, one twin bedroom and a single room. It is well heated with storage heaters and a coal effect fire in the living room. Patio doors from the dining area lead to a secluded lawned back garden with mature trees.

All bed linen, towels, tea towels, electricity, hot water and heating is included in the rental price.
Change over day is Saturday.
25% deposit is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation.
Final balance is required 4 weeks before arrival date.
The property is available from 3pm on day of arrival.
We ask that the property is vacated by 10am on date of departure.

The East Anglia / Suffolk region

Suffolk is a wonderful place for family holidays or with friends. It offers beautiful countryside, sandy and shingle beaches, forests, heathlands and pretty towns to explore. The highest point is only 128m above sea level thus giving Suffolk its wide open skies and beautiful sunsets.

The area has inspired many artists, writers and musicians. There is so much to see and enjoy including the towns of Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Southwold and Lavenham. Other places of interest include Framlingham Castle, Snape Maltings, Flatford Mill and Kentwell Hall. Fun family days out include Pleasurewood Hills theme park and Africa Alive.

The Southwold / Reydon area

Reydon is one mile from the seaside town of Southwold. Reydon is a village which offers a play area, church, hotel/pub, two good grocery shops, is on a bus route and has lovely walks. Southwold is the home town of Adnams Ales and its famous beach huts!

The town also offers a restored Victorian pier, a working lighthouse, church (considered to be one of Suffolk's finest), a variety of shops, pubs, cafes, fishing harbour with foot ferry to Walberswick, golf course, an Electric Picture Palace, Jill Freud's Summer Theatre, boat trips, cycle hire, tennis courts and so much more!

“So spacious,clean and quiet” We have stayed in many cottages and apartments over the years and this is one of the best. There were only 2 of us but there is plenty of room for 5 people with a large lounge and a kitchen/dining... more

“Spacious bungalow a great place to stay” Stayed with my daugther and her two children over the Easter holidays. When we arrived we were really impressed with the size and cleanliness of the bungalow. Everything was there you needed. Bedrooms had modern pretty furnishings and the kitchen was really big with a good sized lounge to relax in. Care had been taken in presenting all aspects of this property.
