Yellow Gates is a terraced cottage situated in the hamlet of Carsethorn, six miles from the village of New Abbey in Dumfries. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor double and one zip/link twin, as well as a shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there is off road parking for one car, a shared front garden and a private, enclosed rear lawned garden with patio and furniture. With river views, Yellow Gates is a lovely base for a holiday in the area.

Shop 6 miles, pub 1 min walk. Beach 1 min walk. Note: Sloping ceiling in twin bedroom. Note: Steep, narrow stairs in property, may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

The village offers a watermill, a shop, a coffee shop, two hotels, plus the River Nith runs nearby. The market town of Dumfries is within driving distance and has bars, restaurants, cafes and museums.
