This lovely contemporary 2-bed apartment situated on the 4th floor with en-suite, overlooking the park boasts new york style city living in the heart of Southampton. The property is located virtually on Oxford Street, which boasts the cities finest restaurants and bars. Over the last few years Oxford Street and the surrounding area has become the `Mayfair' of Southampton. Many celebrities frequent the area. `Oxfords Brasserie', Dockgate 4 Restaurant/piano dance bar and the Thai Cafe come highly recommended. The apartment is within walking distance of Ocean Village boosting a cinema and alfresco dining overlooking the Marina with its many luxurious power and sail boats. Town Quay is located across the park from the Apartment and it hosts the ever popular La Margareta's restaurant/bar/dance venue and is open until 3am 6 nights a week. You can also catch the Red Funnel Ferry from Town Quay and the Redjet to the Isle of Wight. You are also in walking distance of the cruise liners when in Dock and you can book boat trips from Town Quay to see them. West Quay and the surrounding shops in the Southampton High Street are a short walk away and offer the ultimate shopping experience. Southampton is abundant with local history and a visit to the local tourist board will provide you with leaflets and information on sites and guided walks etc.

Southampton is a bustling city centre with a lot to offer. Southampton is home to the P&O and Cunard liners and so the ships can often be seen moored up alongside when travelling around the city. Southampton has an enormous amount of restaurants, bars and night clubs. Southampton historically is an old port and evidence of this can be seen by 'walking the old walls' and visiting the local museums.Within walking of the apartment Southampton plays hosts the annual Southampton Boat Show which attracts exhibitors and vistors from worldwide destinations.

Just behind Havelock Chambers is the 'uber' chic Oxford Street with many up market restaurants and bars with people dining alfresco. A Casino and Ocean Village Marina are all within easy walking distance. Mayflower theatre stages many West End shows. Southampton High Street hosts all the big name night clubs and bars which provides a really good night out. There is also Leisure World complex which boasts an Odeon Cinema, Grosvenor Casino and many nightclus and restaurants. You are spolit for choice when shopping with West Quay Shopping Centre. It has 3 floors of shops and a food hall on the top floor.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Southampton Airport (10mins drive). Airports further away include: Bournemouth (40mins drive), London Heathrow (75min drive) and London Gatwick (90 min drive). Ferries to Southampton from the Isle Of Wight are run by Red Funnel and include a high speed service (20mins), or to take the car (60mins). Car hire is available from the airports and there are also lots of local car hire companies in and around Southampton. Southampton Central is the main train station which links London Waterloo in 90mins.

Conditions
