About the home

Homefield Road is an attractive property situated in a quiet road between Wimbledon village and Wimbledon Common.

The village is well known for its many cafes restaurants and boutiques as is the Common for its lovely variety of walks and leisure facilities.

However if you want to visit the centre of London quickly and easily then Wimbledon station is only ten minutes walk with its frequent trains to Waterloo taking only fifteen minutes.

This is a beautifully renovated Victorian terrace in the heart of Wimbledon village. On the ground floor there is a very large well appointed kitchen/diner, a cloakroom and entrance into the pretty walled garden.

On the floor above there is the large sitting room and double bedroom while on the top floor there are two inter-connecting double bedrooms one of which is en-suite and a family bathroom.

The South East England / London region

All the wonderful sites of Central London are within a short train or underground ride. Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London as well as the scores of art galleries and museums and world famous shopping in Oxford Street Regent Street and Knightsbridge are within easy reach during your stay at Homefield Road.

Many local attractions in Kent and Surrey such as Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens are easily accessible as well as the pretty southern coastal town of Brighton with its pier and pavilion only an hour by train.

The South West London / Wimbledon area

As well as Wimbledon Common with its local golf courses and horse riding (stables situated in Wimbledon Village) Richmond Park is within ten minutes drive.

The world famous tennis courts as well as the excellent museum is about ten minutes walk away. So it is very easy to spend a day visiting the Tennis Museum, spending some time visiting the wonderful shops and restaurants in the village and then having a relaxing walk on the Common.
