Being a typical victorian London house it has narrow and steep stairs between different floors so is probably not suitable for very small children or the infirm.

Pricing and payment
The prices are quoted, and must be paid, in UK pounds sterling. Rates are based on 7 nights stay and include all taxes and services except telephone usage and use of honesty larder.
A 50% deposit is required to make a confirmed booking. For bookings in excess of four weeks, the deposit required will be equivalent of one week's rent. The balance is due and payable no later than 28 days prior to date of arrival. Should the arrival date be less than 28 days from the booking date then full payment is required to secure a booking.
An additional refundable breakage deposit is required with the final payment for protection against unforeseen damage or excessive/specialist cleaning to the property and/or contents. To be refunded within two weeks of departure date (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
If cancellation occurs before the full payment has been collected the deposit is refunded less a £70 administration charge. Should cancellation occur within 28 days of arrival, refund is normally subject to re-letting of the property for the said period.
Payment is via a Bank transfer, the customer being responsible for any additional bank fees incurred.

Check in/Check out
In most cases, Check in is after 4.00 pm and Check out is before 10.30 am.
We do not have a 24-hour check in facility so require guests arrival and departure details, in order to organize key collection/drop.
£75 charge will be applied in the event of loss of house keys and security fob.
The South East England / London region
Surrey is a region with something for every age group. Within walking distance of this great home you will find plenty of river side cafes, restaurants, shops, cinema, theatre, bowling alley and much much more. A short ride by train will bring you to central London.
A little further out, much of surrey countryside is in the green belt and is rolling Downland. The geology being dominated by the chalk hills of the North Downs. There are many commons and access lands, together with an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways.
The South West London / Kingston-Upon-Thames area
Vibrant and cosmopolitan London needs little introduction with plenty of art galleries, museums, theatres shops and restaurants. Summer opera concerts in the open air, royal palaces and parks.
Kingston-upon-Thames is an ancient market town where saxon kings were crowned and now a leafy but lively and major metropolitan centre in London. A thriving shopping area with high street chains and more select boutiques.Numerous pubs and restaurants.
Historic Hampton Court Palace with flower shows every July and Ham house. Close to Wimbledon Tennis. Kew gardens, royal parks and footpaths along the river Thames, just a hop away.
For the young at heart there is Chessington World of Adventure, Thorpe Park and Legoland.

London Black cab - approximately £40. About 30 minutes.
Heathrow Express train, via Paddington station.
Bus No.285 to central kingston. 10 minutes walk to house from station.

Taxi (approx £65-75 pounds). About 1 hour.
Local private hire taxi will be cheaper. We can provide number.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spotlessly clean with gorgeous white bedlinen and masses of wardrobe space. Patio doors opening onto a scented, excellently maintained garden was my personal favourite- I drank many a morning cup of tea amongst the lavender. The house is minutes away from the bus station, train station and Kinngston's shopping area and yet it was peaceful-so quiet at night I could leave the bedroom windows open. Highly recommended.
