The South East England / Greater London region
Balham is surrounded by many of London’s attractions and is close to Wimbledon Tennis, Twickenham Rugby and concerts, and is also close to the wide open spaces of Wandsworth Common and Clapham Common.
A short train or tube journey (20mins) and you are in London, West End and all its attractions such as the London Eye, Piccadilly circus and Leicester Square (West End theatres, plays and musicals), Trafalgar Square, National and Tate Galleries, London Zoo, London Aquarium, a host of various Museums etc. You can also visit Hyde Park, take a stroll into Kew gardens, Greenwich, Hampton court palace and more, all within easy reach.
The business district (Bank) is 19mins journey. It is also close to King’s Cross and St Pancras where the Eurostar train provides easy access to Paris, Brussels and onto the rest of Europe!
