On offer until the end of 2014 is this economical accommodation in New Malden, Surrey (a short train trip to Wimbledon or Central London). There are good links to Heathrow (57m express bus service) and Gatwick.

This is an ideal base from which to visit all parts of London, and being based in a suburb, it is much quieter and restful than the centre of town. An £8 day ticket after 9.30am from the local station (a short walk away) gives you unlimited travel on trains, buses, trams and tubes. You can return in the evening to this quiet house in a smart residential area. And there are many and varied local restaurants if you want to treat yourself, rather than take advantage of the large kitchen. This property is ideal for large families.

There are a number of first floor double bedrooms, which share a kitchen and dining room. 6+ guests gives you exclusive use of the first floor of the property.

Facilities include a large garden, a spa bath/power shower, and WiFi.

Parking is off-street.

"Nutfield is located in a quite neighbourhood, full of flowers during the summer. Three stores are no more than 5 minutes of walking: Waitrose, Lidl and Iceland. The high street and train station (New Malden) are also within 10 minutes. Trains run to Clapham Junction and Waterloo via Vauxhall for Victoria line (about 18 minutes to waterloo).

There are loads of Korean restaurants on the main street, THEY ARE GOOD, trust me, better than any other you may find in central London.

The house is comfortable; I spent two weeks there: WIFI, modern kitchen, washing machine available, big garden ready for BBQ if you wish. Large and clean bathroom, where you can actually take a bubble bath.

Mike and Jay are more than helpful and nice, everything should be flexible if you ask. It's a two way communication based on respect. They know the place inside out; ask them if you wanna find a pub to spend the night or a Royal Garden close by."

"Very comfortable stay - would definitely revisit"

We booked this holiday rental for our in-laws who were coming to stay. They were a group of 6 who all were very impressed with the house and its facilities. The manager Mike was very flexible and helpful with any queries we had both leading up to and through the stay.

The house itself was a lot more spacious than was expected and had lovely plush carpet throughout. The kitchen was expansive and more than large enough to accommodate cooking for groups of 9+.

All in all everyone enjoyed their stay and are already planning and return trip to this house.

"A home away from home."

We loved our stay. The bedroom was large and plenty of space in the house to freely move around. Mike, our host, was very relaxed and welcoming. Being so close to public transport and shops made everything so easy and convenient. Thank you so much.

"Stay with comfort"

This accomodation have good access to transportation from the train station and bus stop nearby.
We had no trouble with food and clothing because we could buy everything at many shops close to the main street.
The rooms is large, and kitchen, bathroom,and toilet are clean.
We'll come back again next year.

"Very comfortable stay with an excellent landlord"

This is a very spacious accommodation for the 6 of us (son plus 4 siblings) with nice decoration and a great and well equipped kitchen. The landlord is very resourceful and could offer plenty of useful and valuable advice in many respects. We were well received when we arrived and taken very good care of throughout our stay and beyond. The kitchen was particularly valuable to us as we would have been bored to death by restaurant food if we couldn't cook that often with joy during our 2 week stay at this place. A big tip here is to take full advantage of this fantastic kitchen. Another valuable tip is to feel free to discuss your needs with the landlord who's a very nice and friendly guy, always prepared to help and suggest, and most promptly. Last but not least, we are not that much garden people but found the garden more than a bonus, saving us lots of money buying apples and pears, in addition to even more space to stretch out. All in all, it's a great place with an excellent landlord that I would more than be delighted to return to and recommend to my friends.

"Best experience ever"

We go to the UK every 6 months or so and have stayed at a few further places. Nutfield rates right on top.
The room was spacious, clean and plenty of storage space. Mike even arranged a separate single bed for us. The facilities we very clean, well organised and spacious. The bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi and bidet. the kitchen is very spacious and equipped with anything we could have possibly needed for ourselves and the little one. The house has a lovely garden which we had full access to and our 4 years old daughter loved playing there.
There is free parking on and off street.
Mike is an excellent host and we sincerely would like to thank you for a perfect stay. It could not have been better.
Nutfield will be on top of our priority lust on our next visit for sure. Highly recommended.

"An excellent facility for a family holiday with plenty of room to spare"

The pictures and advertisement on this property do not do sufficient justice to what Nutfield actually has on offer. The facility is understated on the advert.
With three large rooms on the first floor (we had the entire floor to ourselves) and a kitchen almost as large as two rooms combined, together with the lush green garden at the rear of the house, my family of six (four kids, my wife and I), couldn't have found a better holiday residence. We found the rooms much larger and more comfortable than as described on the site. The location, only 10 minutes from Central London, was ideal. In a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, we found Nutfield only a few minutes of leisure work from the train station and the bus stops taking you out of and back into New Malden. Our daily trips into Central London, were thus without much stress.
Mike, our host, was also very pleasant and accommodating. Made sure we had everything we needed to guarantee an enjoyable stay at the Nutfield.
The wireless internet connection was a joy to use.
This is an ideal place for groups or several independent individuals who don't mind sharing one large and spacious family bathroom (with jacuzzi) and a small toilet and shower room downstairs.
My family and I had a great time staying 16 days at this property.
And I will very readily recommend it to other holiday makers.
Well done, Mike, and thanks for making our stay a wonderful one.
I look forward to coming back to Nutfield soon.
