Wimbledon is most famously known for its annual tennis tournament it does however have quite a bit more on offer. Wimbledon comprises many areas, Wimbledon Common, Ridgway and Wimbledon Village. Wimbledon Village has a lovely community atmosphere with fantastic shops and boutiques, traditional pubs, wine bars, restaurants and organic food stores. Wimbledon has lots of of green space with Wimbledon Common providing, horse riding, golf, cricket, rugby and a running club, cycling routes and walking routes (bikes can be hired from Wimbledon Village) and of course it is home to its most famous residents the Wombles! Wimbledon park provides water sports, tennis courts, children's playground, and playing fields. Central London is easily accessed from Wimbledon Station with district line tube and overground train services direct to Waterloo (15mins) or Earls Court (20mins), another great way to travel to central London would be to travel to Putney Bridge by bus (20mins) and take a river taxi going east to the Houses of Parliament &Tower Bridge or West to Hampton Court Palace.

West Wimbledon is fantastically loacted for access to central London as well as sporting venues such as Wimbledon, Twickenham.Similarly the surrounding countryside has much to offer and Wimbledon's great advantage is that it is conveniently placed to get into the centre or head out of London without difficulty. The A3 which is no more than 5 minutes from the apartment will soon lead out of London by car.
