Good points: The flat is close to Colliers Wood tube station, a park, local shops and the Sainsburys/M&S hypermarket. It was clean and well appointed. There is a garden. The area seemed reasonably … More
1. The apartment upstairs is another holiday let managed by us. The family at the time were noisy and so we did have to talk to them about this and remind them of the terms of their let. Their let has now finished a long time ago.
2. The guest did enquire about parking and we said that parking permits were required. She did not respond indicating that she wanted them or how many she wanted. When she arrived and called wondering where her permits were, we naturally responded saying that she did not apply for them.(i.e. from us). We do not expect our guests to apply from Merton council. When she said that she wanted some, we delivered some the following day.
3. Our cleaners thoroughly cleaned the apartment. Due to a problem with our laundry pickup, the dirty sheets were left unfolded in a black bin bag at the back of the wardrobe. All clean sheets and duvets are ironed and carefully folded and left on the bed. Extra ironed sheets are folded tidily in a chest box in clear view of entering the apartment.
When we came to pick up the dirty sheets, the guest said she thought the sheets were fine and was using them. On our insistence, she took them off and give them back to us so they could be cleaned.
We have never had an incident like this before and to ensure there can never be any confusion, we have now installed an outside box where dirty washing goes if there is a problem with any pickup.
4. It is a large London 1 bedroom apartment that can actually accommodate up to a maximum of 4 people due to its size.
1 Bedroom with 1 double bed
1 fold up single size bed
1 single size mattress
However it is a 1 bedroom apartment and hence some people (e.g. 2 couples) may wish to have more space as with a 2 bed apartment or even 3 bedroom house. We have a selection of other 2 bedroom & 3 bedroom properties that can accommodate those needs as well.
