It has a lovely walled front garden through French doors and a great one to the rear which the designer kitchen and comfortable living room lead on to.

Recently refurbished throughout the apartment provides a secure and smart base for families from where central London and the surrounding countryside are all easily reached.

Entry through the main entrance hall of the house with entry phone leads to the apartment directly ahead. Once inside the apartment another hallway which all of the rooms lead onto takes you to the main area, a wonderful open plan reception room with designer kitchen adjacent. The well furnished reception room has two sizeable comfortable sofas from where to watch satellite television or DVDs and double doors leading onto the rear decked garden area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all facilities providing a great place to cook and dine with a sizeable wooden table which will seat 6 with ease should you feel like staying in. It has sliding doors that also open onto the rear garden giving a great sense of space and providing a source of cool air in the summer, if it's colder outside stick on the underfloor heating in this area of the flat that gives that great feeling of warmth underfoot!

There are two double rooms looking out onto the front garden. The master bedroom has double doors onto the garden and a comfortable en suite with roof light above with which to watch the clouds go by whilst relaxing in the bath. This bedroom has a convenient walk in wardrobe and a small but useful office area aside the utility room where all clothes can be kept clean.

Next door the other double room also looks out onto the front garden. It is well furnished and comfortable.

Across the hall the family bathroom has a large shower, designer fittings and underfloor heating.

Next door to this is the single room with fitted wardrobes and a sizeable window looking onto the back decked area.

Further details outdoors

The front garden is paved with wonderful flower beds a lovely place to sit on a sunny day. There is a gate onto the front parking area from here.

The rear hardwood decked area is furnished with hardwood table and chairs and a lovers swing for those romantic evenings. This area is enclosed and can provide a good space for children.

Further details

1. All bookings require a 25% deposit. The remaining 75% is to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday commences. Non-payment by the due date will be considered as a cancellation by the client.

2. In the event that there is a cancellation every effort will be made to re-let the house. If we succeed we will refund you the 75% balance payment however the 25% deposit will remain non-refundable. We suggest that you insure against this possibility.

3. Any bookings made 6 weeks or less before arrival require payment in full at the time they are placed.

4.Bed linen and bathroom towels will be provided.

5. A refundable deposit of £500 pounds is due 2 weeks before arrival and will be returned 1 week after your departure. Any breakages or any damage should be reported by the tenant to us and paid for.

6. No pets.

7. No smoking in the apartment.

8. As the flat is handed over fully cleaned we expect it to be returned fully cleaned. Of course most tenants have the decency to do this.

9. Our visitors have always enjoyed the apartment, it's location, and their stay. We enjoy this fact.

The South East England region

If you come by Eurotunnel on the train or by ferry to Dover you will be passing through the county of Kent on your way to London often referred to as "The Garden of England" because of it's bountiful countryside and farmland.

Being the closest part of England to the continent it has an interesting past maintained to this day meaning that there are many interesting sites to visit. There is a ferry from Dieppe to Newhaven in East Sussex which is closer than Dover. The South of England is where you will catch the best weather as a rule.

Getting into London's centre from Wimbledon is easy. Public transport provides all the options that a visitor may need and also saves the difficulties of traffic and parking that travelling to the centre of this busy, thriving city may present. Having said that car travel in town is possible for those who can take it!

A short list of what London has to offer is almost impossible to provide but here is a sample:

Theatres and entertainment in the West End

The London Eye

The Thames and boat trips

Tate Britain art gallery

Shakespeare's Globe theatre

etc, etc, etc!!!

Similarly the surrounding countryside has much to offer and Wimbledon's great advantage is that it is conveniently placed to get into the centre or head out of London without difficulty. The A3 which is no more than 5 minutes from the house will soon lead out of London by car or Wimbledon station 10 minutes walk down the road will take you by overground train to Brighton for a visit to the seaside.

There is truly something for everyone.

South West London

The apartment is conveniently located 5 minutes around the corner from Wimbledon Village a beautiful stylish area offering a broad range of restaurants, boutiques, shops and bars to choose from. The Common is at the end of the road great for walks, exercise, golf or just sitting in the sun and watching the world go by! Richmond Park leads on from the Common for those feeling like a long wander.

The world famous tennis grounds of Wimbledon are another 10 minutes on from the village with the tournament and museum. Anyone for tennis?!

At the bottom of the hill there is Wimbledon Broadway where there is a comprehensive selection of shops supermarkets, cinemas, theatres etc all 10 minutes walk away. Here the station provides great transport for London or elsewhere. You can be at Waterloo Station central London within a short walk of so many attractions within 16 minutes by a train service that runs regularly throughout the day!

Wimbledon is a good, secure, relaxing place to base yourself for a break in London. It has all the conveniences that you could want and it's leafy parks can convince you that you could be in the middle of the countryside.

"Great Place in the heart of Wimbledon Village"

Very well presented flat that has been recently rennovated to a high standard. The pictures on the web are a true reflection of the size of the rooms and what is there.
Situated a few minutes away from Wimbledon High Street with all its very pleasant bars and restauarants. Also a few hundred metres from a local supermarket.
Off street parking very useful.

Full sky tv package and wi-fi internet

We went with young kids (3 under 4yrs old) and the flat was perfect with its space and outdoor area. The owners purchased a cot on request.

Owners very pleasant to deal with and allowed us to use "whatever was in the kitchen cupboards".
