The South East England region
Situated just a 2 minute walk from Thames river and parks (Close to open spaces of Richmond Park, Bushy Park, Home Park and Hampton Court Palace), Seven Kings Way is located moments from the banks of the River as well as walking distance from extensive shopping and entertainment facilities including the Bentalls Centre. Kingston bars and shops are on the doorstep.
Kingston receives on average of over 300,000 visitors per week, a figure which increases to as much as 1/2 million during the peak Christmas trading times. It is for all these reasons that Kingston Town Centre is a successful and popular Regional shopping destination, second only to the West End within the South East of England, and regularly being featured in the Top 10 Shopping Destinations in independent research surveys.
Kingston is traditionally an historic Market Town with a Royal Charter, however, since the early 1990's it has been subject to substantial investment resulting in the provision of 3.5 million sq ft of retail floor space including the award winning Bentall Centre. In addition the town boasts a unique riverside setting, a growing tourism industry, specialist retailing in the historic core, a variety of themed markets, street activities and well established late night and Sunday shopping.
Centre's of Excellence for learning are provided by Kingston University and Kingston College who between them have some 20,000 students.
The recent riverside development at Charter Quay with its mix of high quality residential accommodation, atmospheric restaurants, specialist retailers, theatre, performance and exhibition space is helping the ancient market place and areas around the church develop into the cultural centre of Kingston.
The Rotunda leisure development with a broad mix of leisure and entertainment located right next to the public transport hubs provides a 14-screen cinema and 14-lane mega-bowl adding to the already dynamic and vibrant night time economy.
South West London
Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace is one of the world’s finest Royal Palaces. Set in 60 acres of beautiful gardens and home to some of Britain’s most famous Kings and Queens, it’s unique history, splendour and sheer scale continue to impress. This Palace of many stories overlooks the river Thames and is a magnificent blend of sumptuous Tudor décor and Wren’s baroque architecture. It was built by Cardinal Wolsey who gave it to Henry VIII in a vain attempt to retain his favour. The Palace enjoys extensive parkland and gardens, and includes the famous maze.
Kew Palace is the smallest and most intimate of the royal palaces. First used by the Royal Family in 1728, the Palace was finally purchased by George III in 1781 as an annex to the White House, and is now located within the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
Chessington World of Adventures is one of the South’s most family friendly theme parks. 90% of the park’s rides and attractions are suitable for children under 12, from Land of the Dragons - a whole themed land especially for mini sized adventurers – to the chance to come face to face with amazing animals. With excellent value price options and a fantastic queue busting day planner ticket Chessington is THE theme park where families come first.
Visit the Chessington Zoo and encounter many magical animal experiences, from brand new leopard cubs through to majestic sharks in the spectacular new SEA LIFE Centre.
Kingston has almost three miles of one of the most attractive stretches of the River Thames.
The attractions, on and off the water, remain undiminished. There are pubs and restaurants along the riverside, boat trips during the summer months and a wide variety of craft for hire. Charter Quay has further enhanced the River Thames area.
There are walks and cycle routes to Hampton Court, Teddington and Richmond along some of the most picturesque stretches of the Thames. There are also walks along the Hogsmill river , a tributary of the Thames, which is by the stone Clattern Bridge.
North of Kingston Bridge is Canbury Gardens, a leafy spacious park providing something for everyone. The wide riverside pathway ensures a pleasant walk and there are facilities for the more energetic. The gardens are thriving with wildlife and have become a popular spot for fishing, picnicking and feeding the ducks.

LOVED the location! There was a direct bus from Heathrow to Kingston (x26). Just a short walk from the bus station to the flat. The national rail is also a short walk from the flat. You are also close to the Thames River so, you can walk just about anywhere on the path. The flat was just the right size for a family of three. Oh, forgot to mention, you are in the heart of the Kingston shopping area. I plan on staying here again when we travel back to England in a few years.

"Nice apartment, very close to the river and Kingston city centre"
We had a great time in Kingston at this apparment. Owner Giovanni was very welcoming and the apartment is very convenient for a holiday. It is close to the train station to London (it only takes 30 minutes to get to London), and it is also very close to the river and Kingston city centre, to supermarkets...
